Goa scholarships are conducted by the different non-government/ government institutions and are presented to the state's permanent residents. The government's main aim is to provide monetary assistance to the fellows having an interest in their development. The students studying in different classes can rely upon these Goa scholarship schemes for higher education.
Here, the viewers may look at the Goa education trust scholarships provided by the state/ central government. Particular preference will be given to the students containing minority certificates. The selected students will receive different awards according to the class levels.

Here are some of the Goa trust scholarships available for permanent residents. Different authorities provide these Goa scholarships. The list of the top Goa education trust scholarships are given below:

Post-Matric Scholarship for S.T. Students
The post-matric scholarship is offered to the deprived students of the S.T. community. The permanent residents of the state pursuing class XI and above from a well-known university can apply for the scholarship. To be eligible, the annual income of the student's family should not exceed INR 2,50,000 from all sources. The selected students will be rewarded with a Goa scholarship amount of INR 1,200 per month. The amount may vary in case of hostellers and day scholars. Some extra allowances will also be allotted to the selected students.

Vidyadhan Scholarship Program
Vidyadhan scholarship program is an opportunity provided by the Sarojini Damodaran Foundation. The students who have cleared class 10 and currently pursuing their classes 11/12 can apply for this scholarship. Financial assistance will be given to the deprived students of the state for their higher education. To be eligible for the Vidyadhan scholarship program, the student must have scored at least 80% in class 10/ SSLC exam. The disabled students of the same academic year may get 75% marks for being eligible for the Goa scholarship. Also, the annual income of the student's family should not exceed INR 2,00,000 from all the sources. The selected students will be rewarded with a Goa scholarship amount of INR 6,000 per annum.

DCT Scholarship
DCT scholarship is an opportunity proposed by the Dempo Charities Trust. The state's permanent residents pursuing postgraduate/ professional courses from a known university can apply for the scholarship. Financial assistance will be provided to the students for the applied academic year. The annual income of the student's family should not exceed INR 6,00,000 per annum from all sources. Moreover, the student should not appear for other scholarships provided by the central/ state government. Every student must fulfill the Goa scholarship eligibility criteria. The selected students will be rewarded with a Goa scholarship amount that will cover the tuition/ hostel allowances.

National Talent Search Exam (NTSE)
National Talent search exam is organized by the National Council of Educational Research and Training. The domiciled students of the state pursuing class 10 can apply for the scholarship. Nominal assistance for education purposes to nurture bright minds will be provided to the students. The exam shall commence with two stages (i.e., state and national). The selected students will be rewarded with a Goa scholarship money of up to INR 2,000 per month.

Goa Education Trust Scholarships, U.K.
Goa education trust scholarships, U.K. is organized by the British Council. They must have cleared their graduation program from a well-known university for availing of the services of the scholarship. To be eligible, they must be below 30 years of their age and must hold a good record in the academic year. Availability of the offer letter and the Indian Passport will be beneficial to the student while the applying for the scholarship. All the selected students will get an opportunity to pursue a master's degree in any U.K. universities.
Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY)
Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) is an opportunity offered by the Department of Science and Technology. It gives a chance to the students pursuing bachelor's and master's degrees in science and technology stream. Here, the eligibility criteria are based on specific categories. They are as follows:
- For SA Stream
- They must be enrolled in class XI in science and technology for the academic year.
- They must intend to pursue U.G. courses in science and technology (B.Sc./ B.S./ B.Math./ Int.M.Sc./ M.S.) for 2023-24.
- They must have scored at the least 60% marks (50% of S.C., S.T., and PWD) in science subjects in the class 12th examination.
- For SX Stream
- They must be enrolled in class XII in science and technology for the academic year.
- They must intend to pursue U.G. courses in science and technology (B.Sc./ B.S./ B.Math./ Int.M.Sc./ M.S.) for 2023-24.
- They must have scored at the least 60% marks (50% of S.C., S.T., and PWD) in science subjects in the class 12th examination.
- For SB Stream
- They must have cleared class XII during the academic year.
- They must be enrolled in the 1st year of B.Sc./ B.S./ B.Math./ Int.M.Sc./ M.S. courses during the academic year for giving the aptitude test.
- They must have scored at the least 60% marks (50% of S.C., S.T., and PWD) in science subjects in the 1st year of U.G. program.
The selected students will be rewarded with a Goa scholarship amount of up to INR 7,000 per month based on their class levels. Additionally, contingency allowances of up to INR 28,000 will also be allotted to the selected students based on their class levels under the rules and regulations of the institution.

Pre-Matric Scholarship for S.T. Students
The pre-matric scholarship is offered to the deprived students of the S.T. community. The domiciled students of classes 9 and 10 can apply for the scholarship. It aims to provide monetary assistance to the children belonging to S.T. communities for their higher education. Significantly, more preference will be given to the dropouts of the academic session. To be eligible for the scholarship, the family's annual income should not exceed INR 2,00,000 per annum from all sources. Also, they must be regular students studying in a known institution handled by the state/ government board. The selected students will be rewarded with a Goa scholarship amount of up to INR 350 for 10 months per year. It may differ between the hostellers and the day scholars. Additional contingency allowances will also be provided to the selected students as per the institution's needs and rules.

Dayanand Bandodkar Scheme for Higher Education for Orphans
Dayanand Bandodkar's scheme for higher education for orphans is an opportunity for the students who have cleared their class 12, provided by the state government of Goa. The students who lost both of their parents (i.e. father and mother) and have a desire to pursue higher education can apply for the scholarship. They must be a domiciled student or have lived in Goa for at least 15 years. Every student must fulfill the Goa scholarship eligibility criteria. The selected students will be rewarded with a Goa scholarship amount to cover the entire tuition/ library/ accommodation, etc allowances.

The students can apply online through the Goa scholarship portal. They can apply by using the steps given below:
Step 1: Go to the official website of the scholarship.
Step 2: The first-time applicant should register into the scholarship portal.
Step 3: If already registered into the portal, log in with your registered I.D. and Password.
Step 4: After the log-in process, the candidate may have a visual on the main menu of the webpage.
Step 5: Click on the Help button given on the main menu for creating an application and updating it.
Step 6: Have a preview of all the listed scholarships in the portal and click on the Apply now button to create the student's Goa scholarship application form.
Step 7: Fill in all the details and attach the relevant documents.
Step 8: Look at the details filled in and click on the Submit button to end the procedure.
