The Indian Institute of Technology (BHU) in Varanasi provides the IIT BHU Varanasi department of computer science and engineering junior research fellowship for candidates with bachelor's or master's degree in a related discipline.
The Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Government of India, sponsors the two-year research project, and the selected candidate will receive a consolidated salary every month. Eligibility Criteria
The management will select one candidate for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF). The eligibility criteria to apply for the IIT BHU Varanasi department of computer science and engineering junior research fellowship are as follows:
- The candidates should not be over 28 years of age. However, IIT-BHU Varanasi offers age relaxation as per the norms of the Government of India.
- They should hold a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science engineering, information technology, electronics and communication engineering or any related stream.
- Candidates with a bachelor's degree should have obtained a minimum of 75% marks or a 5 CPI out of 10.
- They should have also secured a valid score in GATE/ NET.
- Candidates with a master's degree should have graduated in a related discipline with a minimum of 60% marks or a 0 CPI out of 10.
Rewards
The selected candidate will participate in a research project titled optimized fog computing for smart healthcare application in IoT-enabled heterogeneous networks as a Junior Research Fellow (JRF). He/she will receive a salary of INR 31,000 per month.
