University of St Andrews Application Process for International Students

  • After you have completed the application, submit it. You will have to upload all the necessary documents in the portal that would be required to support your candidacy.
  • After finishing all these formalities, the college would take 5-8 weeks to review your application
  • In the meanwhile, do get your bank statement and look up the visa process and other required documents
  • In 5-8 weeks, you shall receive a response from the university regarding your admission

University of St Andrews Application Deadlines

Admission deadlines at the University of St Andrews are different for undergraduate and graduate programs as both the committees are different too. The deadline for UCAS undergraduate applications for medicine is October 15 and for other courses is June 30. The admission deadlines for PG courses are given below.

Admission Procedure of University of St Andrews

Once you receive the admission offer you have to follow the following steps.

  • The applicant should acknowledge the mail which has the conditional offer letter attached
  • The applicant then needs to pay the advance fee if any and get the CAS document which is very important
  • Now, the applicant can apply for scholarships if they require one.
  • After that, the applicant can apply for a visa and also get a TB test 
  • And then, the applicant has to book an appointment with the embassy for a visa interview
  • After your interview, in a few weeks, you shall know the status of your visa
