AIIMS Exams 2024: Registration Process
Step 1: Go to the official website of AIIMS, i.e. www.aiimsexams.ac.in.
Step 2: Now go to the Academic Courses section and select your course (MBBS, MD/MS/MDS, B.Sc. Nursing, M.Sc. Nursing)
Step 3: Now fill in the required details for registration and upload the required documents, including photograph, signature, and thumb impression.
Step 4: Now pay the registration fee, i.e.,.
- General/OBC: INR 1500
- SC/ST: INR 1200
- PWBD: No fee
Step 5: You are now registered. Print the confirmation page for future reference.

AIIMS Exams Results 2024
AIMS has released results for various courses including the recruitment exam for nursing officers, fellowship programs, hospital administration, INI-CET PG, B.Sc. honours Nursing, M.Sc. courses, Masters of biotechnology, B.Sc. Nursing (post basic) and M.Sc. Nursing. The results for various other programs and courses are yet to be announced in the coming months. AIIMS Counselling Process 2024
Find below the steps for the AIIMS Counselling Process 2024.
- Once the AIIMS result is out, candidates can start with their counselling registration using their registration ID and password.
- After the registration is done, they can start filling their choices of courses and colleges.
- Choices can be modified or reordered until they are locked.
- Before the final seat allocation, AIIMS conducts a mock counselling round, which helps candidates understand the seat allotment process.
- The seat allotment process usually occurs in multiple rounds and an open round is conducted later if it is needed.
- Students are allocated seats based on their ranks, preferences, and availability of seats.
- Candidates must accept or refuse the allotted seat within the specific time frame.
- If they accept the seat allotted, they must download the offer letter and report to the allotted college for the further admission process before the deadline.
- If the candidate refuses to take the seat allotted, they can participate in the subsequent counselling rounds.
- The candidate must report to the allotted institute on time for further verification of the documents and complete admission formalities along with payment of the fees.

AIIMS Exams Eligibility Criteria
Before applying for the AIIMS exams, candidates should look at the eligibility criteria. AIIMS exam 2024 qualification rules for MBBS, PG, and Nursing might vary; therefore, candidates should ensure they qualify for the qualification and afterwards apply.
AIIMS MBBS Eligibility
AIIMS MBBS eligibility criteria are as mentioned below. Candidates must make sure they satisfy all of the following and then fill up the application form.
- Educational Qualification: The candidate must have completed 10+2 or equivalent with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects.
- Minimum Age Limit: 17 years.
- Nationality: The candidate can be of Indian or foreign nationality, NRI, OCI, or PIO.
- Aggregate marks in qualifying exam: General category candidates are required to have a 60% minimum aggregate score. SC/ST/OPH category candidates are required to have a 50% minimum aggregate score.
Note: The only means for MBBS admission in AIIMS is through the NEET examination.
AIIMS PG Eligibility
AIIMS PG eligibility criteria depend on various factors such as nationality, previous educational qualification, and aggregate scores. Candidates must meet the following particulars before applying for the exam.
- Educational Qualification: The candidate must have completed a bachelor’s degree course in the relevant field, i.e., MBBS for MD/MS/MCh/DM courses and BDS for MDS course.
- Nationality: Indian.
- Rotary Internship: The candidate must have completed a 12 months rotary internship or practical training for MD/MS/MDS courses.
- Aggregate Score: General category candidates are required to have 55% and reserved category candidates are required to have a 50% aggregate score in their bachelor’s courses.
AIIMS Nursing Eligibility
Candidates who qualify for AIIMS Nursing eligibility will appear for AIIMS Nursing 2024. Further, they will get admitted into various courses offered by colleges affiliated with the AIIMS Medical Board.
- Nationality: Indian.
- Age Limit: Candidates must be 17 years or above as on December 31 of the year of conduction of the examination. (Example: 17 years or above as of December 31, 2023, for AIIMS Nursing 2024 exam).
