NEET PG 2020 Tie-Breaking Criteria
When two or more candidates have the same mark, there arises a tie for the rank. The higher rank is assigned to the particular candidate among the others with the same marks using the below-given tie-breaking criteria.
- Number of correct responses -The candidates with more correct answers in the NEET PG 2020 examination were given a higher rank.
- The aggregate percentage of MBBS professional exam - If the tie exists after the above-mentioned criterion, then the aggregate percentage of all MBBS professional examinations is considered. The candidates with higher percentages are assigned a higher rank.
- Date of birth - If the tie still exists after applying both criteria, then the date of birth of candidates is considered. The candidates who are older are assigned higher ranks.
