UP D.El.Ed 2025: The UP D.El.Ed application window will open in September 2025 (tentatively). The process will be started by releasing the merit list for the 1st round. The applicants must note that there is no examination for admission to diploma courses anymore. The BTC merit list will be made based on the students' marks in the 10th, 12th, and graduation.

Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) is a 2-year diploma program for candidates who want to become a teacher at primary and elementary schools. UP BTC, the Uttar Pradesh Basic Training Certificate, is now known as UP D.El.Ed.

UP BTC (D.EI.Ed) 2025 Important Dates

UP Pariksha Niyamak Pradhikari Allahabad will conduct the UP BTC online registration 2025 from September to October 2025 (tentatively). Merit list round 1 dates for UP BTC 2025 admission will be announced after that.

However, candidates must note that the seats are allocated to the eligible candidates in the UP D.EL.ED counselling according to the rank of the merit achieved by the candidate. UP D.EL.ED is supposed to be a two-year professional course, and aspirants selected for the UP D.EL.ED courses are eligible to teach students from classes 1 to 8.

The Uttar Pradesh Exam Regulatory Authority facilitates BTC counselling for admission to D.El.Ed. The candidates who are qualified for admission need to fill out their college preferences. Then the final verdict on the admission list and counselling will be released by the Regulatory Authority after analyzing the BTC merit list.

UP D.El.Ed (BTC) 2025 Counselling

UP BTC counselling 2025 is organized by the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP). The merit list for counseling will be produced based on the marks obtained by the candidate in the mark sheet of 10th, 12th, and graduation.

D.El.Ed 2025 Counselling Registration

The candidates can follow the procedure given below to initiate the counseling registration process:

• Step 1: The candidates have to go to the Board's official website, updeled.gov.in and click on the counselling option.
• Step 2: Select the counselling option and then click on the generate OTP tab. Candidates need to provide registration numbers and dates of birth. The OTP will be sent to the registered phone number.
• Step 3: The candidates will have to fill in the choices, and for this, they have to fill in the course name, registration number, received OTP, and captcha in this step. This step will lead to the password tab to enter a new password.
• Step 4: After this process, the students will be able to lock in their choices.
• Step 5: There will be options to select the available choice, submit the choice, delete the choice, interchange the choice, and lock the choice.
• Step 6: The candidate should fill the colleges according to the decreasing order of his/ her preferences.
• Step 7: Click on the submit option to confirm the choice preferences.

Documents Required During UP BTC Counselling 2025

Before entering round 1 counselling, candidates must print out the seat allotment letter issued by the authority. The candidates will get BTC admission into their respective colleges if they can produce the letter at the time of admission.

UP D.El.Ed (BTC) 2025 Seat Allotment

After the merit list is prepared, the colleges are allocated to the candidates. The allotment letter is generated for each candidate. The allotment letter can be downloaded by the candidate from the Board's official website by paying a fee of INR 2000/- via the online platform.

UP D.El.Ed Seat Allotment Checking Procedure

• Step 1: The candidate has to go to the official website to see the allotment status.
• Step 2: The candidate should select the particular course and fill in the registration number/ roll number and birth date.
• Step 3: Click on the button 'Get Result.'
• Step 4: The candidate can view the UP D.El.Ed results.

UP D.El.Ed (BTC) 2025 Scholarship

The candidates who belong to a family with low income can avail BTC scholarship to pursue their studies. Both male and female candidates can avail themselves of the scholarships. The colleges that are under the UP D.El.Ed authorities are both private as well as government.

The tuition fee for the government colleges varies between INR 10,000 to 15,000 per annum. Whereas for the private colleges, the tuition fees can go up to INR 40,000 to INR 50,000 per annum. So, when the student is sponsored by the BTC scholarship, then he/ she does not need to pay any fee mentioned above for the course.

UP D.El.Ed (BTC) 2025 Eligibility Criteria

The candidate should have passed 10th,12th and graduated from a recognized university/ institution. The candidates who have done a one or two-year Undergraduate Diploma are not eligible to appear for this course. Applicants must have completed graduation in any field (BA, B.Sc, BCA, BBA, B.com, or B.Tech) Arts, Commerce, and Science. The BTC qualification (minimum age) for this course is 18 years.

The BTC eligibility and category-wise maximum age limit for D.El.Ed is listed below,

• For the General category, the maximum age limit is 35 years, which applies to male and female candidates.
• For OBC or SC/ST, the minimum age limit is 18 years, and the maximum age limit is 40 years.
• For the PWD candidates, the maximum age limit is 50 years, which applies to both male and female candidates.
