UP NEET PG 2024 Counselling Process

The counselling process for UP NEET PG 2024 admission involves 3 rounds, including a mop-up round. The step-by-step counselling process is provided in this section. 

Online Registration 

Here are the instructions for filling out the online application form for UP NEET PG counselling 2024.

• Firstly, register yourselves by visiting the official website- upneet.gov.in
• It is advisable to register through the same mobile number & email ID that was used during NEET PG 2024 registration.
• After completing the registration process, you will be directed to fill out the application form.
• Fill out all the details minutely and upload the necessary documents.
• Pay the registration fee of INR 3,000 and submit the application form. You can pay the registration fee using payment modes like debit card, credit card, net banking, UPI, etc.
• The registration no. for the UP NEET PG application 2024 will be sent to your registered mobile number.

Release of State Merit List

Authorities will release a merit list for the candidates who registered for UP NEET PG counselling 2024. It is prepared based on the NEET PG 2024 marks secured by the candidates. Those who are included in the merit list will be eligible for UP NEET PG 2024 counselling.

Online Choice Filling

Those candidates who made it to the merit list need to go through the online choice-filling process. They are required to log in to their registered account to fill out the choice filling form. Candidates can edit choices any no. of times before the final submission. 

Remember that the choice filled by the candidates will only be considered if they click on the ‘submit and lock’ option. Those who fail to lock their choices will not be considered for allotment of seats.

Seat Allotment List

DMER prepares the seat allotment list for UP NEET PG counselling on the basis of certain factors. These factors include seat availability, choices filled, merit list, and others. Candidates can check the result of seat allotment on the official website. 

Selected candidates who want to confirm their seats must report to the allocated institute before the deadline. The authorities will forfeit the seats of the candidates who fail to report to the college within the deadline. 

Tuition Fee Payment

Those who will be assigned a seat through UP NEET PG counselling need to make the course fee payment to confirm their admission. After paying the course fee, candidates can download their allotment letters. The course fee needs to be paid through one of the online payment modes like credit card/debit card/net banking.

UP NEET PG Counselling 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Those who fulfil the following eligibility criteria can participate in the UP NEET PG counselling process:

• Must have completed MBBS from a recognised institution based in the state of UP.
• Domiciled in Uttar Pradesh and completed MBBS from an institution outside the state (15% AIQ seat).
• Those who passed BDS/MBBS from UP are eligible for admission to government/deemed/private/state universities.
• Those who are domiciled in UP and have completed their BDS/MBBS degree from outside the state can apply for private universities only.
• Should have completed the compulsory rotatory internship by July 30, 2024.
• Must have qualified for NEET PG 2024 exam.
