The AIIMS Bhubaneswar seat matrix has been released by the concerned authorities of the Institution. AIIMS Bhubaneswar provides MBBS, BSc, etc., for candidates aspiring to join the college. The seats available and the reservation policy of AIIMS Bhubaneswar have been provided in this article.
AIIMS Bhubaneswar Seats Reservations
AIIMS Bhuvaneshwar’s seat for MBBS programs is of 5½ academic years with one year of mandatory internship and a four-year program for the BSc (Hons) Nursing course. Given below are the seat matrices for each category.

AIIMS Bhubaneswar Seat Reservation
All 15 AIIMS institutes undergo a reservation policy in seats. AIIMS Bhubaneswar seats also have a reservation policy. A total of 100 seats are allotted. From the total seats, the reservation is allotted as follows.
- 7.5% are reserved for Scheduled Tribes (ST)
- 15% for Scheduled Castes (SC)
- 27% for Other Backward Class (OBC)
AIIMS Bhubaneswar Seats Reservation: Inter-Convertibility
Under certain circumstances, AIIMS Bhubaneswar seats are interconvertible as per the university guidelines. Therefore, if the admitted candidates for a category are not enough, the seats may be allotted to candidates of another category as per the rules outlined below.
- If there are not enough candidates required to fill the reserved seats for SC, then the seats can be filled by ST candidates and vice versa.
- If there are not enough required SC/ST candidates for reserved seats, then candidates from the General category can fill the seats.
AIIMS Bhubaneswar Admission
AIIMS Bhubaneswar seats require aspirants to qualify the minimum eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria for MBBS and BSc are given below.
- For MBBS aspirants must have secured a minimum of 60% in class 12
- Students must qualify NEET with an aggregate of 55% in Physics, Biology, Chemistry, and English.
- Foreign candidates nominated by Govt. of India are eligible for the MBBS course without any entrance examination.
- For BSc, aspirants must have a minimum of 55% in class 12
- Students must clear the AIIMS Nursing entrance test with an aggregate of 55% in Physics, Biology, Chemistry, and English.
