What is CCC Course?

The full form of CCC is Course on Computer Concepts. The CCC Course is designed by the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) to provide a common person with the basic knowledge of computer literacy. The course duration lasts for a total of eight hours with fifty hours of practical sessions. The course has no minimum or maximum age limit and can be applied by everyone. The exam is conducted online mode (no pen and paper required).

CCC Eligibility

Just like any other course, CCC coursework also has its own set of eligibility criteria. CCC course is coursework made for people of all walks of life; hence the eligibility criteria are fundamental. Some of the eligibility criteria include:

• Students should have passed grade 8 or 10 with a minimum 50% aggregate score. A 10+2 certificate is additional but not mandatory.
• Students from NIELIT approved institutions don't have any eligibility criteria in terms of educational qualifications.
• A student should be a citizen of India with a valid government-issued Identity (preferably an aadhar card)

NIELIT CCC Course

The NIELIT CCC Course is intended to provide students with a basic level of IT competence. Aspirants who complete the NIELIT CCC course will be able to use a computer for fundamental tasks such as writing personal/business letters, browsing information on the internet, receiving and sending emails, and so on.

NIELIT CCC Course Eligibility

CCC registration forms do not have any minimum or maximum requirements. Applicants of any age or educational level can apply.

There are three ways to obtain CCC certification. Here are the eligibility criteria for the three modes:

• Students sponsored by NIELIT approved colleges and universities- These candidates are authorized to enrol regardless of their previous educational background.
• Sponsored students through government recognized colleges/ schools could also participate in the CCC course no matter what their credentials are - such applicants can complete the course regardless of their educational qualifications.
• Applicants who directly apply to a university or school (without being sponsored by a university or school-based on government approval) are eligible.

NIELIT CCC Course Admission 2022

Most institutions/colleges that offer certificate courses in CCC do so based on a merit-based selection criterion. Below is a detailed explanation of how you can apply for a CCC certificate course:

• They must have passed the ten plus two or graduation level examinations from an accredited university or college.
• A merit list is prepared from the total number of applicants, and some colleges invite candidates for admission.
• When a student is allotted a seat and deposits the registration fee for a session, they must register for that session.
• Registration for a new session starts when all the criteria have been met.

NIELIT CCC Course Application Forms 2022

The students cannot appear in the test without submitting an application form for NIELIT CCC. On the NIELIT entry, you can access the CCC Online Examination Application Forms (OEAF). Before submitting their application form, students need to familiarize themselves with all the basics. 

When filling out the application form, you should have the following documents.

• An image of your passport-sized photo, along with a left thumb impression, in the recommended format. To validate the application form and receive all intimations from NIELIT in the coming years, students must have a personal mobile phone number.
• Each student should have a personal email address for future correspondence and approval. During the entire certificate program, the email address must be active.

CCC Certificate Process

Candidates who have appeared for the CCC examination can obtain the certificate online. They are now in the digitally signed e-certificate format since 2014. The process to apply for this e-certificate is given below:

1. The 1st step is to open the NIELIT portal.
2. Next, verify the certificate details.
3. Once the verification is completed, the necessary details must be submitted, and then click on the 'submit' option.
4. Verify the code (OTP) through an SMS or email.
5. Once the above step is done, the digital signature has to be verified.
6. After the verification process is complete, download the certificate. The e-certificate awarded to you will be in PDF format.
