GNDU Eligibility Criteria 2023
Candidates can refer to the eligibility criteria mentioned below for different courses in GNDU.
- To gain admission to the BA Economics program, students need to have completed their 10+2 HSC examination in subjects such as Economics, Accountancy, Commerce/Business Studies, or any other related field. For other academic disciplines, they must have passed their class XII examination or an equivalent exam.
- Additionally, to be eligible for admission to postgraduate programs, students should have achieved at least 50% marks in their bachelor’s degree (with relaxation to 45% for SC/ST candidates) for any subject. Similarly, for the class XII examination or its equivalent, they must have scored at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST).
- Alternatively, students can also qualify for admission if they have passed the 10+2 HSC examination with a minimum of 50% marks or the equivalent examination recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), as stipulated by the respective state/central government authorities.
- For those who have pursued a different academic stream, passing the 10+2 HSC examination with a score of 50% marks in relevant subjects, or meeting the equivalent requirements, will make them eligible for admission to the BA Economics program. This is also applicable for candidates excelling in State Level Sports/games, where they need to have scored at least 50% in their senior secondary examination (10+2) or its equivalent, as recognized by the university.
- For those aiming for subjects other than Economics, Accountancy, Commerce/Business Studies, or Science-related fields, the minimum requirement is passing the 10+2 HSC examination or its equivalent.
