Sports and Recreation facilities at ACNCEMS includes our Physical Education Department, Adventure Club, ACN Cricket Club and the annual sports events. These clubs offer a substance-free environment for students to actively participate in keeping physically fit, learning new skill-sets and reducing stress through recreation on and off campus. Whether you’re into mountaineering or hiking, river-rafting, cricket, soccer or football or tennis, we have the facilities and the professional staff and instructors who will provide a positive learning experience for you.

COLLEGE HOSTELS

College campus provides well furnished hostel accommodation to its students, separately for boys and girls. The girl’s hostel has triple seater rooms and accommodates about 300 students. The Boys Hostel can also accommodate about 300 students and preferences are given to first year students. College bus service is available from the out-of-campus hostels.

Each hostel complex has its separate mess with well equipped kitchens and dining area providing hygienic, nutritious and wholesome meals. Hostels have gymnasium as well as indoor and outdoor sports facilities. The hostels also have a TV room and library with magazines and general reading books. Hostels provide reasonable levels of comfort, hygienic food, and recreation facilities with conducive environment for all round development.

LIBRARY

All students and employees of the College are entitled to make use of the Library facilities on taking library membership. The Library, besides having a huge collection of books on engineering, science and humanities offers library services through its various divisions.

Library Services:

Text Book Loan Scheme – In addition to a well-maintained library, college has a rich Book-Bank exclusively for students. Every student gets one or two books for each subject issued for full semester for personal use. The books are to be returned at the end of the semester and a fresh set of books is issued at the commencement of a new semester.

OPAC – Online public access catalogue (OPAC) has been introduced for library data search by users. OPAC is a powerful search engine for finding any catalogued information from College library database on-line.

Multimedia Library – There is a multimedia library with CDs, DVDs and Audiocassettes. Library users can access multimedia sources or write/record to the same. A separate catalogue of multimedia sources is also available for their references.
Question papers and Model Solutions – Previous years Question Paper Bank can also be found in library stocks for the reference of the students and guidance of faculty.

Book Reservation – In case of non-availability of the desired book in the library, the book can be reserved for the user until another user returns the desired book.

Faculty Reading Room – The Library provides sufficient and separate room for reading purpose to the students and faculty members.

Library Membership – All the students, faculty members and employees of the Institute can register themselves for the membership of the Library.
