B.TECH:-

Management Quota:

• Nationality: Open to Indian citizens only.
• Age: Must be at least 17 years old by December 31, 2024.
• Academic Requirements: A minimum of 45% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) combined at the Higher Secondary or equivalent level.
• Entrance Exam: Must pass the Kerala Engineering Entrance Exam.

Government Quota:

• Academic Requirements: Same as Management Quota (45% in PCM).
• Age: Must be at least 17 years old by December 31, 2024.
• Entrance Exam: Must pass the Kerala Engineering Entrance Exam (KEAM).
• Note: Eligibility for two-year courses is based on the aggregate of both years. Admissions will adhere to University and Government regulations.

M.Tech:

• Nationality: Only Indian nationals are eligible.

• Educational Qualification: A B.Tech degree from APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University or an AICTE/UGC-recognised institution. For foreign graduates, an equivalency certificate from APJAKTU is required.

• CGPA: A minimum CGPA of 6.0 (on a 10-point scale) for general candidates, 5.5 for SEBC (OBC), and 60% aggregate marks for non-credit system graduates (55% for SEBC/OBC). SC/ST candidates need a pass.

• AMIE/AMIETE Candidates: Must possess a valid GATE score and at least 55% in Section B of AMIE/AMIETE.

• Sponsored Candidates: Must have 3 years of relevant work experience and be sponsored by recognized organizations or universities. Special fees apply.

• GATE Requirement: Typically required, but may be waived for sponsored candidates if vacancies remain.

• Final Year Students: Eligible to apply if they have cleared up to the 6th semester; final admission requires submission of the degree certificate.

Selection Process

• GATE Score: Admission will primarily be based on the GATE score. If insufficient GATE-qualified candidates are available, selection will be based on aggregate marks in the qualifying degree.

Application Procedure

• Apply through the college website with an application fee of Rs. 500.
• Submit applications by the specified deadline (available on the website).

MBA

• Applicants must have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in any discipline with at least 50% aggregate marks. Final-year students may also apply.  
• SC/ST candidates must meet the eligibility criteria as per Kerala Government and University regulations.  
• A valid CMAT/CAT/KMAT score is required. The minimum qualifying marks for KMAT are 10% (72/720) for General, 10% (72/720) for SEBC/OBC, and 7.5% (54/720) for SC/ST.

Selection Process

• Selection will be based on academic performance, valid entrance exam scores, and performance in the GD and personal interview.

MCA

• Applicants must have a B.C.A., B.Sc. (Computer Science/IT), B.E./B.Tech. (CSE/IT), or an equivalent degree.
• Alternatively, graduates in any discipline (e.g., B.E./B.Tech., B.Sc., B.Com., B.A., B.Voc.) with Mathematics at the 10+2 or graduation level are eligible.
• A minimum of 50% marks (45% for reserved categories) in the qualifying examination is required.
• Candidates without a mathematics background must complete a compulsory bridge course in mathematics and possibly additional computer-related courses, as per university norms.

Selection Process

• Candidates must have a valid score in the LBS Entrance Examination.
• Application is online via the college website (www.adishankara.ac.in).
• Selection involves a GD and interview to assess communication skills.
• Fees must be paid via the ERP system or college bank account.
• Final-year students must submit Transfer Certificates (TC) and degree certificates before the classes begin.
• Once classes start, students cannot discontinue without valid reasons.

Boy’s Hostel:

Adi Shankara provides separate hostels for first-year and senior students. The Senior Boy’s Hostel, with a capacity for 190 students, includes 56 rooms (4 students per room), dormitories, and 8 faculty rooms. The first-year hostel accommodates 150 students. The hostel is managed by a senior faculty warden, a resident warden, and a tutor to maintain discipline and foster a learning environment.
