B.Tech/B.E:- 

Adichunchanagiri Institute of Technology (AIT), affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, and recognized by AICTE, is NAAC accredited. It offers four-year BE programs in seven branches with the following intake:

• Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning: 60
• Civil Engineering: 60
• Computer Science & Engineering: 120
• Electrical & Electronics Engineering: 60
• Electronics & Communication Engineering: 120
• Information Science & Engineering: 60
• Mechanical Engineering: 60
• Computer Science & Engineering (Data Science): 60

Seat distribution:

• 45% by KEA through CET
• 30% through COMEDK
• 25% through Management quota
• 20% for lateral entry
• 5% under Supernumerary Quota (SNQ)
• AICTE’s PMSS for J&K students.

Duration: 4 years (8 semesters) 

Eligibility:

• PUC/10+2 with Physics, Mathematics, and one of Chemistry/Computer Science/Electronics/Biotechnology/Biology (45% marks, 40% for reserved categories).
• Lateral entry: Diploma holders with 45% in the final year (40% for reserved categories).
• Management quota: CET/COMEDK/JEE or equivalent exam required.

M.Tech:- 

AIT also offers two-year M.Tech programs in three specializations with the following intake:

• M.Tech in Structural Engineering: 24
• M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering: 18
• M.Tech in Digital Electronics & Communication Systems: 9

Duration: 2 years (4 semesters) 

Eligibility: BE/B.Tech or equivalent. Admission is based on university-conducted tests and counselling. AIT offers a two-year MBA program with specializations in Finance, Marketing, and HRM (Dual & Single) with an intake of 60. 

Duration: 2 years (4 semesters) 

Eligibility: Minimum 50% in degree exams (45% for SC/ST and other designated categories). PGCET score required for government quota students.

The library at the institute houses 46,000 books in Science, Engineering, and Management, along with 120 technical journals. It offers a reading room with magazines and newspapers. AIT is part of DELNET, utilizes a computerized system, and each department maintains its own library. 

Hostel & Mess:- 

AIT hostels provide a comfortable and well-ventilated environment with essential furniture and hot water facilities. Separate mess halls for gents and ladies serve South Indian vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals, with the menu updated each semester. Standby generators ensure uninterrupted power.
