Alagappa University Distance (DDE) follows Semester programs in UG, PG, Diploma courses, Non-Semester Programs in PG, and Certificate Programs in Library Information Science.
Students inside and outside of Tamil Nadu are assigned to the examination center for distance education. After three to five months of the examination, the university declares the results of the Alagappa University Examination.

• To apply for revaluation after obtaining a photocopy is within 7 days from the date of receipt of a photocopy. The fee for revaluation is Rs.500 per paper.
• To apply for direct revaluation without applying for photocopy is within 7 days from the date of publication of the result. The fee for revaluation is Rs. 600 per paper.
