Although investigations are underway for the mishap, students have faced similar discriminatory issues in the past. In fact, some have complained of the academic atmosphere being hampered due to a persistent classist crowd.
The University does not have a strict dress code for most courses, however students pursuing BBA/MBA, and Hotel Management may have to dress in formal attire occasionally. Students studying Law at Amity are advised to attend classes in white shirts and white/black/grey formal trousers, per the instructions of the Bar Council of India.
