Library Timings
Monday to Saturday: 8:45 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Library has been divided into different sections for its smooth functioning:
1. Circulation Section
This section contains general text books related with various subjects. Library has an open access system. All the books have been arranged from 001 to 999 according to Dewey Decimal Classification System.
2. Reference Section
This section contains important reference books on all subjects. Besides this, dictionaries, encyclopedias, thesaurus, travel guides, competitive books, maps, gazetteers, collected works and Year Books are also available in this section.
3. Periodical Section
More than 50 magazines/periodicals and 12 daily newspapers in Hindi, English and Punjabi are received in this section of the library.
4. Reading Room
The Reading Room has a capacity to accommodate 150 students at a time.
Canteen:
A fully furnished canteen with separate sitting places for boys, girls and· staff is maintained by a private contractor. It serves hygienically prepared snacks, cold drinks and confectionery items on reasonable prices approved by the Canteen Committee of the college.
College Auditorium
The splendid college Auditorium constructed in 1948 has 700 seats. It is used to organize Cultural Programmes, Dramas, Debates, Declamation, Extension Lectures, Seminars, Prize Distribution and Convocation.It has been renovated with the help of Alumni Association. Recently it has been a hub of Panjab University's Zonal and Inter Zonal Youth Festivals and DST sponsored INSPIRE camps.
Seminar Hall
College has two large Seminar Halls with the seating capacity of 1000 people at a time. These are used to organize various curricular and co-curricular activities such as extension lectures, blood donation camps, cultural programmes, general assemblies and examinations.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : 1 hostel around my college. Yes, here PG option is also available. Cost I don't know. Food quality is good. Quality of classroom is unexpected what a classroom and library.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : Wonderful college as I expect and the study environment is very good. The professor is also good as well as intelligent and experienced.
Placements & Internships : I expect my salary is between INR 50-60 thousand. No, I have do not any internship and stipend.
Fees & Scholarships : AS College, [ASC] Khanna course fee is not high, it is INR 4-5 thousand. No, I have no any scholarship. 36 student who read with help of the scholarship.
Academics & Faculty : My daily routine is excellent. Awesome method of teaching. My experience about my college is very good.
Clubs & Associations : Student societies is excellent and I salute there unity Saraswati puja. I can't forget my college life.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : Big area as its a government college situated in the heart of city. Science campus is better in amenities than arts campus but classrooms are not wel maintained at AS College.
Academics & Faculty : You cant gain any knowledge from college. The faculties are good but it is a typical village type college.So faculties are not very serious and other thing is students are also not very serious at AS College
Fees & Scholarships : College fees was Rs 700 yearly for girls. For boys it was around 1200 or some more. So directly there is a scholarship for girls. Some more scholarship was there given by state government for which I had never applied at AS College
Placements & Internships : For Bsc Math NO JOBS but for other courses like BBA and BCA there are some job fare conducted. I remember wipro once came for some TIS entry Dont consider it as a final placement In Short No and One should not even expect util time changes for Jharkhand
Clubs & Associations : There were sports association for cricket, badminton, football, chess. I was a part of the badminton and chess team there was a indore stadium for practice. There were college level, zonal level quize competion
