Fees & Scholarships : As I belong from state merit list my fee is around Rs 12000 per annum. Except Mess dues on monthly basis. State Merit Scholarship, Scholarship by other companies etc. are available. Around top 20 percentile students get scholarships. No loan is not that frequent but might be needed for HFC, since its a Government institution loans are easier to avail.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : There are several ways to get entry to the college: 1) ICAR quota-Here they intake through examination held by ICAR AIEEA-UG. After which counselling takes place in New Delhi and are allotted on the basis of their rank. 2) State Merit List-This quota is for the students domicile of Assam. Here no entrance is held instead they are admitted on the basis of % obtained by them in Class 12  i.e. Physics, Chemistry & Biology. 3) NEC Quota- Students hailing from other North East State except Assam. 4) HFC- High fee Category, They pay higher fees and get admitted on merit basis  Last year for state merit General cutoff was around 89%

Around 30-40% get placed rest go for higher studies we have a very strong alumni network.

Academics & Faculty : We have classes from 8 am to 4 pm mostly. Regular assignments are given and exam conducted twice in a semester ie mid sem & end sem. Quality is good as all the classrooms are smart and have AV aids also the practical classes are fully equipped Overall its a great experience

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are 13 hostels in the premise both boys and girls. Some are pretty good hostels and well maintained.
