The admission process for the courses shall only be on the basis of merit through a competitive entrance examination conducted by the university or State Government or Veterinary Council of India to achieve a uniform evaluation, as there may be variation amongst students at qualifying examinations conducted by different agencies and reservation policy shall be as per Government of India for Veterinary Council of India seats and for States as per their reservation policy. Assam Agricultural University Application Form
The application process is divided into two steps:
- Registration
- Filling and Submitting the Application Form.
All applicants must register in (Step 1) and submit their application in (Step 2) before the last date of the application process:
- During registration, the applicant must upload his/her scanned photograph and signature to complete the registration process
- The applicant can pay the Assam Agricultural University fee for registration through an Online Payment gateway integrated with the form
- The applicant must take utmost care in filling up the form, ESPECIALLY THE MARKS OF 10+2, for avoiding rejection. No alteration of Information will be entertained by the officials.
- In the case of applicants appearing VET 2024, they will have to download their ADMIT CARD, which will be available online, which will have to be produced at the Examination Hall.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : You should have passed 10+2 passed with science as the mainstream with the core subjects Biology, Physics, and Chemistry. The cut off will be announced before the admission begins, and are purely based on the PCB marks.
Placements & Internships : One semester is purely internship based semester, and you will get an assured amount of stipend for it. Campus campaigns are also conducted for the final year students, and many amazing agriculture-based companies join in those campaigns.
Fees & Scholarships : Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat Fee Structure. The course fee is about INR 20,000 per annum. This government-run university offers amazing scholarship options for the merit students. The top 20% of students of each batch can apply for the university merit scholarship.
