Placements & Internships : The placement cell help with  the internships for the industrial training ,but mostly the students arrange internships for themselves by taking help from their seniors and alumini.These are mostly pharma companies and research laboratories   

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria for the course bachelor of pharmacy in Assam University is that a candidate must have passed his/her higher secondary exams with atleast 50% marks . an entrance exam is taken for the admission process where the questions consists mainky from biology ,mathematics ,physics ,chemistry . The students are selected on the basis of their class 12 percentage ,the marks of the entrance exam and the persenol interview which is taken by the professors of the department itself .

Fees & Scholarships : The fees are taken on yearly basis and for the first year is approx. INR 40,000 and approx 35k for the other three years . there are scholarship for the students and fror these they must look in the nsp portal for more info.  

Academics & Faculty : the daily classes mostly start by 9.30 on  the days of practical and by 10 am on the other days . The faculty are highly qualified and well experienced. They encourage  and inspire the students to give their best and excel in life . The teachers focus mainly on the providing knowledge and help the students in every aspects to grow in their life  they use  the help of ppts to show pics and explaining the diseases and providing knowledge in depth .

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : hostels are provided by the in the  assam university campus and the fees is efficient . there are many PGs and rent available in the nearby area called Irongmara which is in walking distance from the campus . The dept named as 'Sushruta school of medical and paramedical sciences' is ecofriendly with a lot of greenary , and infrastructure is good with different lab for pharmaceutics ,analytical chemistry , HAP, and pharmacognosy . each classrooms constitutes of  desk and benches students and a projector is availabe for the teachers and students for better experience in learning  wifi facility is provided by the campus and speed is fairly good   

Clubs & Associations : there are many clubs formed in the university campus . some of the examples are  - the quizz club ,sports club ,debate club ,arts ,dance and music club. many fest are organised in the university campus. some of these are the anual sports week ,tech fest , gs night ,auskriti , and 'GENERIX' which is a departmental fest conducted by the department of pharmaceutical sciences.
