Banaras Institute of Teachers Education is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith and the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT). It is recognized by National Council for Teacher Education and UGC. BITE was established to facilitate a quality technical education institution, meant for producing professionals, and to serve the rural society. Banaras Group has 3 colleges namely - Lalita Devi Industrial Training Institute, Banaras Institute of Teacher's Education, and Banaras Institute of Teachers Education.
