Bhagat Phool Singh Mahila Vishwavidyalaya Infrastructure: Library, Hostel, Labs, Gym, Auditorium & Other Facilities

Bhagat Phool Singh Mahila Vishwavidyalaya campus covers 107 acres of land. More work is planned on another 302 acres in the area to provide students with world-class infrastructure and facilities. In addition, a wide route connecting the university to the GT road is being built, which will significantly shorten the distance between the university and the national capital. The initial phase of the building will include new teaching blocks, a block library, and student hostels with the most up-to-date amenities. Currently, the university has different facilities for each Institute/College, as well as nine dormitories with almost 400 beds for students.

The Bhagat Phool Singh Mahila Vishwavidyalaya has all the facilities and some of which are listed below:

Canteen-The university's cafeteria and kiosk provide students with essential conveniences and eatables. But, more importantly, it gives students the ability to make money by working part-time if they so desire.

Library- The university includes a Central Library with books worth many lakhs on a variety of subjects. Throughout the day, all students studying here have access to the library. It is located in a single-story, fully air-conditioned structure. There is a huge reading area and even reading rooms in the library.

Auditorium: The university is constructing modern auditoriums for students, recognizing the importance of extracurricular and academic activities.

Transportation- The university was established in a rural setting in recognition of the fact that females from rural backgrounds have the greatest need for education, as they are usually ignored in society. It is critical to have regular transportation for students and faculty coming from adjacent locations to keep up with the locale. The university's own buses transport faculty, administrative personnel, and students to and from the university at regular intervals throughout the day.

Sports Facilities- In addition to existing playgrounds, the institution will have concrete basketball and volleyball courts and indoor game facilities. The university also wants to construct a Judo Karate centre to complement the well-endowed physiques of the region's girls, which will instil a sense of confidence in the students and open opportunities for placement in the burgeoning security and martial services business.

Computer Labs: To guarantee that all students have a thorough understanding of both basic and advanced computer abilities, a fully equipped computer lab with the most up-to-date gadgets will be made available to all students, where they will be required to receive training.

Language Labs: The university has developed Learning Resource Centres, which are maintained and supervised by the Faculty of English, to cater to the needs of women in terms of developing communication skills in English. Students must attend the Centres three times a week, regardless of their degree, to get trained in two parts of English: Speaking and Listening. The next three days are spent in traditional classrooms dealing with the other aspects, such as reading and writing.
