Bhagat Phool Singh Mahila Vishwavidyalaya was established in the year 1936 to accomplish the dream of Bhagat Phool Singh Ji and the university is spread over an area of 500 acres. It is the first college to have UGC Centre for Indic-Asian Studies. It has signed MOU with various foreign Universities.
The university has been set up with a dream. The dream is to make something that women gain equal status in society through the pursuit of knowledge and education.
