Campus

BVICAM is centrally located at National Highway No. 10, Rohtak Road, A-4, Paschim Vihar (just adjacent to Paschim Vihar (East) Metro Station), New Delhi, in its own state of the art sprawling campus. It is well poised with spacious parking areas with an excellent surrounding striving for a pollution free and healthy environment.

The campus incorporates amenities like Conference Hall, Auditorium, Amphitheatre, ultra modern Computer Centre, well stocked Library, Students' Hostel, In-house Banking facility, Indoor and Outdoor games facility, aesthetically designed Canteen in an open-air ambience, etc.

Computer Resource Centre

The Institute provides ample and updated technical resources to allow its students develop, practice and apply their technical prowess to the utmost. BVICAM campus provides the following well-maintained, spacious laboratories with appropriate teaching-learning facilities.

Computer Labs

The Institute houses three computer labs with about 175 computer systems and a separate Internet lab. All the laboratories are maintained by full-time staff. Current versions of all required software as per MCA course requirements are installed on all systems in each lab under MSDN academic alliance with Microsoft. Any other software required by students for project-work or research-work is also made available. Laboratories are available to students at all working days and working hours.

Digital Systems & Microprocessor Lab

To allow students to understand digital system hardware components and design, BVICAM has a separate Digital Systems and Microprocessor Lab. It is equipped with PAL/GAL trainer, 8085 microprocessor kits, etc. BVICAM also takes pride in providing System Integration and Hardware Assembling lab to its first year students.

Internet Lab

The Institute has a separate Internet lab. It is connected to the cyberspace with a high speed, dedicated 2 Mbps WiMax radio link from Tata Communications. Additionally, it is also equipped with NKN link and related resources. This lab helps in linking the students to the world of e-resources while updating them about the latest happenings & technological updates.

Library

BVICAM campus houses a separate, centrally air-conditioned, fully computerized Library block.The Library is a knowledge repository that maintains a wide variety of resource materials including:

The library has a seating capacity of 150 readers and is the central hub for all academic and research activities of the Institute. The Library is also subscribed to international online databases like IEEE, SpringerLink and DELNET. There are over 1000 titles (reference + text books) and over 8,000 books in all. Five Books are issued to the students for a period of 15 days. Books like Encyclopaedias, Manuals, Handbooks, etc. have also been maintained separately for reference purposes. Every semester, all students are issued one set of textbooks each as part of the Book Bank Facility. The library also subscribes to 70 national & international journals/periodicals related to Computers, Information Technology, Business Studies and General Information.

Auditorium

The college provides state-of-the art conference facilities to host activities like Conferences, Seminars, Guest Lectures, etc. The fully air-conditioned auditorium is equipped with latest acoustics and a warm ambience. It is a perfect venue for different events of the college. From teleconferencing, data projection and electronic whiteboards, the auditorium has all required facilities for conducting and managing events.

With a capacity of over 400 students at a time, the auditorium is the centre of all major inter and intra-college events@BVICAM. It acts as host to informational & technical seminars, cultural events, quiz shows, and guest lectures.

Hostel

The Institute provides excellent hostel facility within the campus for girl students who wish to avail the campus residential facility. The twin sharing fully air-conditioned Girls hostel within the campus offers a secure home to its female students with an independent life style, while ensuring privacy with a congenial atmosphere. The hostel is augmented with proper food facilities, common T.V. room, other indoor games and adequate medical aid. All rooms are double occupancy rooms, along with an attached bathroom. Each hosteller is provided with a separate almirah in her room. Recreational facilities such as common rooms with necessary facilities are also available. Round the clock electricity is ensured, along with proper facility of generator backup in case of power failures. The Hostel is well equipped with mess, canteen, indoor / outdoor recreational facilities. The hostel compound is equipped with two extremely beautiful and well-maintained lawns. Full security arrangements are also ensured with security guards on duty round the clock. For boys, PG facilities are available near the campus.

Safety and Security Aspects

Safety and security are prime areas of hostel activities.

Safety: Handling and safety of the students in critical situation is necessary, like adequate provision of the firefighting equipment is made on each floor of the hostel complex.

Security:

• Provides adequate security arrangements with guards on duty.
• Provides adequate locking arrangement for the room during day as well as in the night, ensuring safety of students.
• Movements of students during night are observed to back up trust and faith entrusted.

In its own centrally located sprawling campus at A-4, Rohtak Road, Paschim Vihar, BVICAM provides all basic facilities to its students and staff. The campus besides basic teaching-learning facilities also provides other amenities like:

Bank

An in-house banking facility is provided. The institute has Bharati Sahakari Bank, Co-operative Bank located in its campus. It is a multi-state Scheduled Co-operative Bank of Bharati Vidyapeeth, Pune.

Guest House

The Institute has a Guest House having four double rooms with necessary amenities.

Canteen

Canteen has all modern amenities with facilities for dining, snacks, cold and hot drink, coffee, tea, soups dispensers, microwave oven and deep freezers.

Electricity And Power Backup Facility

The Institute has online UPS which, in turn, is supported by Heavy Duty Generators as an alternate arrangement during power failure.

Reprographic Facilities

A reprographic centre with Xerox machines, scanners, printers etc. is provided in the campus which takes care of all reprographic needs of the students.

Medical Facilities

The Institute has a sick room, provided with First Aid box and a Visiting Doctor to attend to minor health problems of the student and staff. A full fledged hospital, Action Balaji Hospital, is adjacent to the BVICAM campus.

Internet Facility

The Institute is connected to Internet with a 2 Mbps WiMax Connectivity. Internet facility for staff and student is available in labs till evening. Internet facility is also available in Library for students to browse the online journals. Hostel rooms are also equipped with internet facility.

Metro Connection

The Institute is located adjacent to the Paschim Vihar (East) Metro Station and is thus well-connected.

Playground

The sprawling campus is surrounded by 4.2 acre playground which houses facilities for students to indulge in outdoor sports activities.

Sports Facilities

BVICAM provides excellent sports facilities for all its students. Besides a gymnasium, the Institute also ensures that its students refresh their energies by indulging in different outdoor and indoor sports activities like Cricket, Volleyball, basketball, Table Tennis, Carom Board etc. Annual intra-college sports events are a regular at the college.

Staff Quarters

The teaching and non-teaching staff of the institute is also provided with staff quarter facility.  The centrally located, safe, noise-free, well-connected campus makes it a place worth living.

Gymnasium

The Institute provides a state-of-the art gymnasium equipped with all modern exercise and training equipment for its students and staff. The facility can be availed by faculty and students free-of-cost.

The Amphitheatre

The open-air amphitheatre bears testimony to several cultural extravaganzas. With more than 250 students seating at a time, the amphitheatre provides our students a platform to showcase their hidden talents and cultural diversity. Plans are afoot to make it one of the best Amphitheatres around.
