MKBU was established in 1978 by the state of Gujarat. About 107 colleges are affiliated with Bhavnagar University. NAAC, New Delhi, accredit it. The University is a member of The Association of Indian Universities (AIU). The university provides many UG, PG, PhD and Post Graduate Diploma courses in various disciplines and specializations. Admission 2022-2023 is in process. Admission to courses like BBA, BCA, BSW, MBA, MDS, and M.Phil is based on entrance exams such as CAT/MAT/CMAT/NEET PG.
