Plug and play is the latest mantra for organizations to sustain their growth in this period of market recession. Plug and Play is an industrial term used for students who are directly employable straight after their graduation without any training exposure. In order to save training cost companies are focusing more on recruiting plug and play students.

Training and placement cell acts as a bridge between the academic and corporate world.

Placement cell of BITS under the guidance of our honorable director makes sure that it produces plug and play students for the market and very student masters the required standard of Soft and Technical skills needed by industries in this competitive period. In order to have better communication with the students, Training Cell is divided into various branches, Each cell is headed by its assistant TPO under the leadership of main TOP. The cell is equipped with STD, ISD and Internet facilities.

T&P cell is actively in contact with renowned companies in order to seek industry feedback on current on going courses in the college. Their feedback is implemented in the academic curriculum so that students face less hurdles during their placement season.

Students of fourth and sixth semester of every branch have to undergo a six weeks training in the industry to gain technical exposure.

T&P cell keeps organizing in and off campus tests for students. It also conducts group-discussions and mock interviews for students and gives feedback on their performance.

The habit of solving aptitude questions, puzzles, enhancing vocabulary, speaking in English is cultivated from the day one of their first semester.

At last, students are encouraged to adapt entrepreneurship so that they become job providers not job seekers.
