MDU Latest Updates

February 13,2025

• The CUET UG 2025 registration will open shortly at exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG. The exam in May/June 2025 will be in CBT mode. Major changes are the lowering of subjects from 63 to 37 and standardized exam duration.

February 12,2025

• The GATE 2025 admit cards are out for admission to the MTech course. The GATE 2025 exam will be conducted on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025 for MDU M.Tech admission 2025.
• The application correction window for CUET PG 2025 ends at 11:50 PM tonight, February 12, 2025. Candidates can modify a single field, like their name or a parent's name, by logging in at cuetpg.ntaonline.in. Important information, such as the application number, fee status, and contact details, cannot be altered.

MDU has a lush green 622-acre campus located in Rohtak, Haryana. Maharishi Dayanand University was established in the year 1976 and today it is one of the well-known universities in India offering a wide range of courses. The institutes affiliated with the university are known for their undergraduate and postgraduate courses in business, commerce, science, humanities, and arts.

MDU admission 2025 for B.Tech will be based on valid JEE Main scores. MDU Rohtak conducts MDUCEE which is a common entrance exam for M.Sc and M.Pharm programs offered by MDU. The university also conducts its own entrance test for admission to programs like M.Com, MBA, and LLM. CAT/MAT/CMAT scores are also accepted for MBA admission. Apart from regular mode learning, MDU also offers several UG and PG courses through distance education mode (MDU DDE). 

During MDU placements 2023, the median package for for MBA stood at INR 3.25 LPA and a total of 151 students got placed from the MBA batch of 210 students. With a large campus and a plethora of courses to offer, MDU is one of the top state universities in the Northern part of India. MDU Admission

MDU Rohtak conducts the entire admission process online. For most of the courses, admissions are centrally administered through the official website. In order to get admission in their preferred course, candidates need to fulfil all the eligibility criteria specific to that course, and must also have appeared in the respective entrance tests like GATE, MDUCEE, etc. 

MDU Rohtak has its own sets of eligibility criteria that need to be fulfilled before applying for admission to the course. These criteria vary significantly based on the category of the students and the type of degree offered, like BA, B.Ed., etc. Below given are the admission criteria for major courses offered by the university.

• MA: Candidates must have 45% aggregate in a bachelor's degree of 3-year duration in a relevant field. Candidates are selected based on MDUCEE scores.
• B.Tech: Candidates must have completed 10+2 with physics, chemistry, and mathematics with at least 45% 
• M.Tech: Candidates must have completed B.Tech with a 50% marks and should have appeared for GATE or MDUCEE

MDU Rohtak result 2024 can be accessed and downloaded from the “Results” page under the “Examinations” menu present on the official website of the university. Candidates need their registration number as well as their roll number to check the result. It is advisable for the students to download and save or print the result for their future use.
