Library
- The reading rooms provide seating for 1063 people. It is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. A separate air-conditioned reading hall with 85 seats is available for research scholars. The MDU library has 105 internet nodes and 12 Wi-Fi access points. The service is provided free of charge to genuine library users.
- The library's collection of learning resources is represented by the Online Catalogue (Online Public Access Catalogue). Teachers, students, and others can view the catalogue from PCs connected to the campus network.
- All library operations are automated. RFID technology for self-check-out and check-in with security gates is introduced.
Hostel: The Maharshi Dayanand University Rohtak hostel has provided a residential facility for over 2500 students by constructing 10 hostels. The university has 5 hostels for boys and 5 for girls, with another 10 in the offing. MDU hostel also provides a nurturing environment for overall development in education.
Health Centre: There are a full-time doctor and a well-trained team of paramedical staff that caters to the varied needs of health care for students and employees.
Computing Facilities: The MDU infrastructure has a robust campus-wide network wrapped around OFC and Wi-Fi technologies. All the departments are linked to the Campus Network. The MDU has a computer centre for the students, research scholars, teachers, and other staff. It conducts computer awareness programmes for the staff from time to time and facilitates analysis of research data of the research scholars.
