Admission shall be open to those candidates who have passed 12th Standard examination in the relevant stream with at least 50% marks. For B.Tech Lateral Entry admission, candidates must have passed Diploma in relevant field of Engineering/ Technology with a minimum of 60% marks. Candidates are selected for B.Tech admission based on merit and marks obtained in Crescent Institute Engineering Admission Test (CIEAT). B.Tech admission also accepts valid JEE Main score.

In order to take up a postgraduate course in Crescent Institute, one must have completed a Bachelor's degree and secure good marks in it. Interested candidates should have graduation in any stream with the chosen subject as one of the subjects with reasonable marks. M.Tech admission requires BE or B.Tech in the relevant stream. Applicants having valid GATE score are admitted directly. Candidates are selected based on the merit of the applicant in entrance test conducted by the respective departments or any other nationally recognized entrance examination. For MBA/ M.Com courses, admissions are given to candidates with at least 50% marks at UG in the relevant stream.
