Library

The library of C B Bhandari Jain College was established in the year 2000. The library being upgraded with the latest library software, i.e. pupilpod. The library has all the facilities with required information in the form of books, journals and internet.

The college library is a gateway to a world of information. The staff and students have unlimited access to a wealth of information resources like books, magazines, journals, encyclopedias and the internet. The library has seating arrangements and calm ambience for learning.

Sexual Harassment & Awareness Cell 

This cell is aimed at providing protection against physical, verbal abuse and any harassment within and outside the college premise and also to enhance the self defense mechanism and also awareness and knowledge of laws to protect against violence & harassment. The college will ensure that students have maximum information and exposure to face any sort of harassment both physically and legally. The methods to be adopted to create awareness would be given through: 1. Periodical guest lecture from law experts 2. Live presentation and enactment of different case studies 3. Conveying information by showing movies & other reality shows 4. Seminars & workshops by members and other experts. 

Anti-Ragging Cell 

The college organized an awareness campaign on "Ragging and discrimination amongst students" as part of activities of the disciplinary and students grievance cell of the college. Ms. Lakshmi N Rao, a participating advocate of the High court if Karnataka gave a brief talk on how ragging has ruined countless innocent lives and careers. "Ragging" according to the Supreme Court means "doing an act which causes or likely to cause anoyance/insult/fear/apprehension/threat/intimidation/outrage of modesty to a student. The students then gave a poerful mime sequence on how ragging can lower the self esteem of a student driving him/her to depression and even suicide. 

Business Lab 

The college maintains a Business Lab which aims at enriching students knowledge with regard to industry requirement and provides an insight into the operations of a business concern. The lab consists of various forms of banking sector, insurance sectors and other financialsectors. These forms enables the students to update the knowledge with regard to requirements on these sectors. Reading business papers and magazines will help the students to keep them abreast with the latest business happenings. Projects done by the students in leading companies are kept for perusal of the students. 

Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDP) 

The college organized a 5 day ED workshop from 22/7/2014 to 26/7/2014 in the college. This was part of their ongoing quest for Women Empowerment and to promote entrepreneurship amongst its girl students. The workshop was facilitated by People Skills India Private Limited with sessions from eminent minds in the field of Commerce and Business, Prof M B Gururaj, Mr. N Ramesh and Mr. Balaji. 153 students participated in this workshop. The EDP Cell at CBBJC hopes to promote many such Business Development workshops in the days to come. 

Incubation Centre 

The college inaugurated the Incubation Centre on 17th Dec 2014. This is a means of meeting a variety of economic & Socio-economic policy needs, which includes job creation, fostering a community's entrepreneurial climate, business creation, encouraging women & minority entrepreneurship, identifying potential spin-in spin-out business opportunities or community revitalization. It was inaugurated by Sri S N Rangaprasad, a chemical engineer who has graduated from Blore University & holds a PG Diploma in Marketing Management and a diploma in paint technology from Mumbai University. Also the other guests of honor were: Sri H N Ramakrishniah, Treasurer KASSIA and Prof M B Gururaj, MD People Skills India Pvt Ltd.
