Library

A library is one of the vital organs of an academic body and plays a crucial role in the development and progress of education. The CAVA library established in 1982 is one of the premier libraries in the field of visual arts which has made phenomenal progress in the field of fine arts education.

CAVA’s library comprising 5433 volumes is a special library. Books are procured not only concentrating on the subjects taught but also on topics of general interest. Over the past three years, the library saw a new dimension in the purchase of books, subscribes to 20 National and International journals and 10 newspapers (local state and national). The collection has increased qualitatively and quantitatively. All the books have been technically processed, catalogued as per AACR II, classified (as per colon) classification scheme VI edition.
