Yuvaraja’s College, Mysore was established in 1928. It is one of the oldest colleges in the state of Karnataka and the only constituent science college of the University of Mysore. The college is an autonomous college of the University of Mysore and accredited by NAAC. The college also recognized as a center for the potential for excellence by UGC. The college has not only contributed to the cause of higher education but has also been instrumental in molding the future of thousands of youth worldwide.

Yuvaraja's College provides teaching and research in the pure (conventional) and applied sciences as well as in certain Arts faculties. Yuvaraja's College admission is done by conducting the entrance exam which is conducted by the University of Mysore, for aspirants at every end of the semester
