Infrastructure :
The university infrastructure contains two sections, north & south campus. The south campus houses the Humanities, Arts and Sciences departments and the north campus includes the engineering College.
- The university has 4 constituent colleges.
- The university has a school of distance education which was started in 1972. The school has 32 study hubs across the state & education center at New Delhi.
- The College of Engineering (Autonomous) consists of 12 Engineering and four Basic Sciences departments, offering 15 undergraduate Engineering day-time programmes and four undergraduate Engineering part-time programmes, 28 postgraduate Engineering programmes, one MCA and three M.Sc. programmes. All the departments run PhD programmes in research.
Computing Facilities: Computing facilities with 943 systems.
Central Library:
- The Central Library has total built up area of 4,454 square meters at the cost of Rs 4.8 Crores with all modern facilities.
- About 33,674 volumes, and 75 Journals, 267 e-Journals & 33 Magazines.
