Andhra University was established in 1926 by the Madras University Act to serve the complete linguistic area of Andhra. Andhra University offers various UG and PG courses in regular and distance modes. The university runs as many as 313 courses in Arts, Science, Technology, Commerce, Engineering, Management, Law, Pharmacy and Education. Admission 2023 is ongoing. Admissions to courses like B.Arch, BCA, B.Sc, M.Tech, MCA, M.Ed, etc., are based on AP PGECET/CUET.
Andhra University is not simply one of the oldest academic institutions in the country but also the primary to be conceived as a residential multi-disciplinary University. Andhra University Eligibility Criteria

B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

- A bachelor's degree in any discipline with 50% marks (relaxation up to 5% in the qualifying marks shall be allowed to the candidates belonging to the reserved categories) from any recognized university.
- Candidates appearing in the final semester examination of the qualifying bachelor's degree are eligible to appear and, if selected, must meet the eligibility criteria of the MBA Programme in due course of time.
PhD Eligibility Criteria
- Candidate should have a master's degree in engineering or technology or any equivalent degree from any recognized university.
- Candidate shall appear for the entrance examination conducted by the university.
