CT Educational Society was established in the year 1997 under the able guidance of a great missionary and visionary S. Charanjit Singh Channi, presently the Chairman of CT Group of Institutions Jalandhar. Our library system opens doors for our people to the world beyond and within. It gives our people full opportunity to learn, live purposeful lives and grow to their full potential, intellectually, emotionally and spiritually.  

Hostels

Separate Hostel facility is available for Boys and Girls. Aesthetically designed, the hostel blocks are spread around the campus. The hostels are interconnected, mostly in blocks of three.

Each of the blocks has a square in the center where badminton courts with good turf are maintained, with some blocks also having lawns in the square. Each hostel block has a common room where facilities such as wall-mounted televisions, table-tennis tables and carom and chess games are available. It is the common room that provides the scene of action for get-togethers, parties and informal discussions. Each block is also equipped with fully automatic washing machines and each floor is further equipped with landline phones, water coolers and water purifiers.

The individual rooms are furnished with teak cots and bedding, a computer table, chairs, closets and shelves. All rooms have full time wireless internet connectivity with direct lines to the main LAN. The housekeeping staff is available through the week and takes care of cleaning the rooms, corridors and rest rooms on a daily basis.

Dedicated mess facilities and round the clock canteen facilities are available in the hostels. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food is available and the pan-Indian menu is managed by the student body. Various other snacks, biscuits, chocolates, ice cream and soft drinks are available in the mess itself.  

Transportation

A fleet of buses, cars, ambulance and other vehicles provide uninterrupted transport facility to the students, faculty, staff and visitors. The CT Group presently maintains a convoy of 64 vehicles including 50 buses, 12 cars, 1 ambulances including one security vehicle & 01 tractor for agriculture and plantations purpose in the campus.

The CT Group extends the pick and drop transportation facility to students within a radius of about 100 km adjoining the city of Jalandhar.  

Gymnasium

The CT Campus takes great pride in its state of the art Gymnasium. The gym is equipped with most modern work out machines like exercise bike, rowing machine, stepper and multigym. Also, dumbbells and discs are available in all sizes to provide participants extensive free weight training. All the three types - Flat, Inclined and Declined - are available for the bench-press enthusiasts. The Gym floor features a layer of plywood and adds to the ambience of the Gym, making the workout a highly enjoyable and refreshing experience. A complete boxing kit consisting of punching bags and gloves adds another feather to the cap. The CT Group Campus also employs the services of part-time yoga trainer and weight instructor.

Computer Labs

The CT Group chooses to lay special emphasis on ensuring that its graduates are ready for the technical challenges of an information society. There are a number of computing facilities available on the campus.

The computer lab houses computers and is generally available during working hours only. Additionally there is a separate lab operated by the MCA Department. The state-of-the-art facility features hardware software that is geared to specific academic programmers. Every Computing center in this network is enabled by state-of-the-art technology and reflects the prevailing trends in computing. Advanced networking technologies facilitate a seamless integration of the various computing centers and the multiple operating systems. The university encourages hands on experience at all levels, making available standard, licensed software to all students and staff. The servers available are RISC based, XEON technology, and laptop computers.

The computer labs provide a mix of software and platforms including Open Source Products, Microsoft, Oracle 9i, Java, Visual Studio, Unix SCO open servers and other high-end application software. Provision is also made for power performance, graphical and multimedia.

Management Information Systems (MIS) Lab

It has six servers and an Windows 2003 domain controller, besides SQL and ORACLE servers, all linked to Xeon Server. The MIS area is networked by 100 mbps switches have Microsoft license products, as well as RDBMS packages like ORACLE 9i, SQL server, MS-Access and MS FoxPro.

Database Management Lab

It has two IBM Xeon server, with an ORACLE server on one end and an SQL server on the other, with Pentium clients. Database Management Systems include ORACLE, SQL, MS Access and FoxPro. Available software includes Visual Basic, C++ and Visual Studio.

Microprocessor Lab

Twenty Core2Duo systems conduct interfacing of the microprocessor kits to the systems with an 8085 simulator.

Digital Simulation Lab

It is equipped with Xeon server and thirty Core2Duo clients. It has packages like MATLAB along with twenty toolboxes required by all the Engineering Departments and management Students .

Computer Aided Design (CAD) Lab

It is equipped with a Xeon based application server and a Core2Duo windows 2003 domain controller.

Language Lab

In Information era language forms a basic aspect in Science, Technology and Management studies. Bearing this in mind, a Skill phones - Based Audio Visual and Audio active Language Lab has been set up. This enables the students to learn English grammar and pronunciation correctly. Courses are offered in Language Teaching and speaking and in New International Business English.

It helps students to prepare for TOFEL, GRE and other competitive examinations; the same helps our students to develop their communication skills, as well as a challenging step towards the real-time environment.

Workshops

The imposing specially designed workshops are spread in an area of 20,000 sq.ft. The 8 shops include Machine Shop, Fitting Shop, Welding Shop, Sheet Metal Shop, Carpentry Shop, Smithy Shop, Foundry Shop, Electronic & Electrical Shop. The acquisition of latest equipments and machines ensures basis Engineering skills with the help of qualified, experienced and knowledgeable faculty.

Training students in a practical environment is a vital part of our academic plans, considering that the practical exposure is an inevitable aspect of a student’s overall development regarding subject understanding and related concepts.

CT Group of Institutions offers modern workshop facilities as an integral part of the course curriculum of all the departments. The machinery in our workshop is one of the most valuable assets in support of the diverse research and teaching activities. Our workshop has several training shops like Sheet metal, Welding, Foundry, Carpentry, etc.

We also keep upgrading the machinery and equipments in our workshop to the latest industry standards to help students learn in a state of the art environment.

Seminar Halls

Seminar Halls are one of the major assets of an institution. CT Group has made every effort in creating 2 Seminar Halls that are fully equipped in every aspect. Each and every Seminar Hall is fully equipped with.

All of these are used not only by the professors and the students of the Campus but also by the external personas that come to give motivation lectures/academic presentations in our college. 

Conference Halls

Conference has become today's prime corporate necessity. Our Campus is provided with Air Conditioned 05 Conference Halls. These halls are fitted with permanent Audio, Video and Projection System. External Guests Lecturer on various latest topics is regularly invited to deliver lectures to our students. Thus our students are exposed to the recent Technology/Trend. Our  conference hall is used for various seminars, conferences and meetings. All these halls are equipped with all the requirements and are demanded by our corporate clients for conducting different types of seminars. Our well-furnished conference room is also provided with mike & projector facility and central air conditioning. Our conference hall hosts a number of special events for guests on campus such as corporate houses, the press and the faculty. 

E- Theatre 

CT Group has made another endeavor in the direction of the knowledge enhancement of the students by setting up an e-Theatre in its Institution. It has installed VSAT equipment, in which the students, by sitting in their e-Theatre only, can interact with the corporate world experts across the country and can take an idea about the real corporate world. It boosts the morale of the students because all their queries are solved by the experts of the respective fields thereby escalating their academic stature. 

At CT Group, a student has the opportunity to participate in all aspects of theatrical production. There are credit and non-credit opportunities. If your goal is to act on stage or work behind the scenes, you can do it here!  Students in CT Group, Theatre program are trained in theatre history, acting, directing and technical production, and opportunities exist for them to design or direct main stage productions. 

Class Rooms 

The classrooms at CT Group Campuses do not just create an atmosphere that is conducive to learning but in a sense nurture the quest for knowledge that the students possess. The original classrooms all seat 60 students. All classrooms are equipped with all modern teaching aids. These include electronic media such as multimedia notebooks, LCD & projectors etc. There are also separate Seminar rooms, Audio-Visual rooms and seminar halls equipped with state-of-the-art videoconferencing facilities. 

Cafeteria 

A hygienic, well-furnished and well-equipped cafeteria is available in the campus to provide food at nominal rates for the staff and students. The Cafeteria in the Campus is the hub of every student activity. A Dining Hall is provided for the day scholars students.  The canteen sells a wide variety of hot and cold food and drinks at recess and lunch times and ensures that a range of healthy choices are available. 

The College Canteen is a large spacious area and a variety of refreshments and meals available. It tends to be the most popular place on campus, not only for physical refreshment but also for student bonding, discussions and even work on assignments and projects. 

Banking

Punjab National Bank

The campus has a full-fledged branch of Punjab National Bank with 24X7 ATM facilities. The bank offers facilities for deposits, withdrawals, Pay Order, DD, Cheques and zero balance savings bank accounts and educational loan facility to the students.

State Bank of India

The campus has 24x7 ATM facility of State Bank of India. 

Medical Facilities 

To look into routine medical problems of the students, our college has separate M.I. room. A qualified Pediatrician has been engaged in each M.I. room, to look into the daily medical problems of the students, if any. There is arrangement of a proper bed in each M.I. room for the students to take rest after being given treatment. Medical camps are organized to bring awareness in students about good heath practices. Besides keeping themselves physically and mentally fit, our students are taken to places, particularly our villages, to create awareness amongst the people who are not much aware about various dangerous diseases prevalent in our country. 

Sports Facilities 

The Campus provides an environment for the students to develop their personality and a good health. All facilities are available for sports. Institute organizes Yoga & meditation session for stress release and good health. There is a Sports Department, functioning to ensure the needs of sports activities of all the Institutes in our educational campus. A large playground in the campus is well equipped for cricket, hockey, football, basketball and other games. 

Elaborate arrangements exist for both indoor and outdoor games and sports. The Annual Sports events are held every year in the college at which a large number of teachers, non-teaching staff and students participate, thereby fostering the spirit of corporate living. Football, Cricket, Table-tennis and Caram are some of the most popular games encouraged among the students. The College participates in most of the games, sports and tournaments conducted by the University. 

Our college has a playground where the students are trained in various Sports like Volley ball, Foot ball, Hockey etc., by required articles and experienced physical directors. 

CT stands tall among competitors with the entire advanced sports infrastructure at campus. For the overall development of students as well as to take care of their physical, mental and social well being sports are must. We believe the true road to permanent success in any sphere is to make yourself a master in that sphere. Our motive is to maximize access, development and excellence at all levels of participation in sport in order to improve social cohesion, nation building and the quality of life. The aim of the Sports Council is to address and discuss pertinent issues that relate to the growth, promotion, support and sustenance of the sport in the province. 

Sardarni Manjit Kaur Auditorium 

The modern auditorium with a seating capacity of 1500 is available for our academic related functions. Our auditorium is very comfortable and wide aisles enable patrons to remain seated as others pass by. Seating is terraced and staggered giving clear sightlines. Acoustics are good throughout the theatre. Air-conditioning helps keep theatre patrons in comfortable temperatures throughout the year.
