Language lab

To develop skill-in-teaching with good communication our D.A.V college of education is initiator in the region in getting installed micro -teaching -cum -language lab as good communication skill has become indispensable for today`s teachers.Micro-teaching-cum language lab is class-room equipment designed and arranged to make the language learning more effective and to develop teaching skills .The lab equipments include master console, ear phones, software of language. The lab can accommodate 30 students at a time .The whole process is facilitated from the cabin of the monitor for good models of speech .There are cabins for learners connected with cabin of monitor through communication system of over-head projector .Privacy is maintained for the students because all of them can practice simultaneously but individually in their cabins.

Computer Lab

The college has well equipped modern Computer Lab with Wi-Fi internet, LCD Projectors, Printer, Scanner facility.

ICT Resource Centre

The college provides first hand experiences of latest technological devices such as Interactive board, Wi-Fi internet, LCD Projectors , Printer, Scanner, Over Head Projectors etc. to its pupil teachers. The main focus of the institute is to provide latest technological orientation to its pupil teachers so that they can successfully adjust themselves in their job environments.

Gymnasium

Truly said, “A sound mind lives in a sound body”. Being fit and fine has become important today. Therefore to keep our teacher-educators fit and healthy both physically and mentally the facility of the Gym is provided in our college. The college Gym is indoor and well equipped with latest fitness equipments like necessary weights jogger, exercise cycle, dumbles , massage machines etc .Our gymnasium is placed at very neat and clean and on airy place. The facility of the gym is provided cost free. The new facilities and machines are established time to time. To give fitness training, we have a gymnasium coach.

Sports Facilities

Keeping in view the all around development of the prospective teacher D.A.V College of education lays stress equally on sports . It is the persistent attempt of the college to grow physically and intellectually as well. Our pupil teachers consistently participate in inter-college all india interuniversity level, state And national level. The students have brought to the college by their outstanding performance in various sports.
