Eligibility Criteria for BA:

The institution offers a BA degree in the following streams:

  • Geography
  • History
  • Sociology
  • Philosophy
  • Political Science

  • Sanskrit Literature
  • Marathi Literature

All the aspiring candidates should have passed [10+2] or High School Senior Secondary exam by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) board or any other equivalent examination conducted by any State Board or Equivalent with a minimum 50% marks aggregate with English as a subject. All SC/ST candidates have a relaxation of 5% of marks in the minimum aggregate set as above.


Eligibility Criteria for MA:

Streams under MA:

  • M.A. (English)
  • M.A. (Marathi)
  • M.A. (Sociology)
  • M.A. (Geography)
  • B.J. (Bachelor of Journalism)
  • M.A. (Mass Communication)

All the candidates must have a bachelor's degree obtained through the 10+2+3 system or an equivalent qualification with a minimum aggregate of 50% of marks or equivalent CGPA of any of the recognized universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India. 

For all the SC/ST candidates a relaxation of 5% of marks on the minimum aggregate is allowed.


Eligibility for MBA:

  • Bachelor Degree in any stream from UGC Recognised University
  • Any National Level Common Entrance Examination

Eligibility Criteria for Diploma:

All the applicants are expected to have passed [10+2] exam conducted by the central board of secondary education or any of its state equivalents with a minimum aggregate of 50% of marks overall along with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics mandatory subjects from any recognised university/institution.

An aggregate marks relaxation of 5% is allowed for the SC/ST candidates.


Eligibility Criteria M.Phil programme:

A candidate seeking admission must have a post-graduate degree in a relevant discipline with 55% marks. For candidates belonging to the SC/ST/PwD categories, the minimum percentage required in the qualifying degree is 50%.  


Eligibility Criteria for B.Pharm:

  • An applicant seeking admission should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination in science stream with Physics, Chemistry & Math/Biology as the compulsory subjects from a recognised board of school education or equivalent.
  • An applicant seeking admission should have obtained minimum 45% marks in the qualifying examination without grace in required each compulsory subjects. However, candidates belonging to the reserved category candidates i.e. SC/ ST/ PH are provided with the relaxation of 5% of marks( i.e. they should have obtained minimum 40% marks)

The Application process for BA:

There is neither a specific entrance exam that you should take up nor any specific qualification to apply for the institution except for the ones mentioned in eligibility criteria.

Application Process for M.B.A:

  • The application process varies for the non-engineering courses as the Institution takes admissions based on the candidate's previous education scores and also through an entrance examination held by the University if required.
  • Candidates will be judged based on these two categories.
  • Candidates are advised to be prepared for the entrance examination and also have knowledge about which entrance test to be given as per the opted curriculum.

Registration/Admission Form Submission Process:

To apply, an applicant must complete the online Registration/Admission Form. There is a common “Registration/Admission Form” for all the courses.
Click on ‘Submit’ button to submit the duly filled Registration/Admission Form.
Once the duly filled Registration/Admission Form is submitted, proceed to submit the Registration/Admission Fee.
Mode of Registration/Admission Fee Payment:

After completing the Registration/Admission Form, the applicant can make payment by any one of following options:

Online (Debit/Credit Card or Net Banking): The applicant after filling the form needs to click on the “submit” button, a box with “SBIepay” for the online payment will appear. The applicant must fill all the details carefully and pay the fee through Debit/Credit Card or Net Banking.
Direct Transfer (NEFT): Applicant needs to login into his/her account through Net Banking and adds institute’s account as a beneficiary. After the activation of a beneficiary account, the applicant may transfer the Registration/Admission Fee directly.


Application Process for Diploma:

All the applicants are expected to surpass the eligibility criteria set by the institution. 

The eligible applicants can now approach the institution for the application form or can register online at the official website of the institution by paying a nominal fee through demand draft or by electronically transferring the money online.

The applicants are expected to attest all the necessary documents proving the authenticity of the documents attached.

The necessary marks sheets, report cards, and transcripts should be submitted along with the application form.


Application Process for M.Phil:

Post Graduate Diploma in M.Phil:

An applicant seeking admission can apply for M.Phil. and PG diploma program admission in offline mode only. You can obtain the application form by post, by a person or can be downloaded from the official website of the university. 


Admission Process for B.Pharm:

The applicants seeking admission can apply for admissions by filling and submitting the complete online application form along with the required amount of processing fee and important documents. An applicant seeking admission must log in to University website and follow the following steps:

  • An applicant seeking admission must check and must ensure their eligibility and other conditions like possession of an active and valid personal e-mail ID and a mobile number before applying for admission.
  • After filling these details, you are required to choose “Password” and security question.
  • After filling up the application form review & submit the form.Edit the application form if required by clicking on the “EDIT” tab.
  • When the admission application is complete click on the  “FINAL SUBMIT” Button.

Note: Read the declaration given at the bottom and accept the declaration by ticking the check box named “I agree” before the final submission.

  • Application Number is generated by the system. An applicant seeking admission are required to note this APPLICATION NUMBER for all future admission correspondences and in order to be able to Login again.
  • Now the candidates are required to upload the scanned (digital) image of Recent Coloured Photograph (maximum 100KB in JPG format only- 3.5cm X 4.5cm ), Signature of the candidate and Thumb impression (Left )(maximum 30KB JPG format only - 3.5cm X 1.5cm).
  • When the uploading process of documents is done, an applicant seeking admission can review the images(and make proper changes if required) and click on the “SAVE” button.After clicking on the “SAVE” button, no changes can be made to the application form.
  • The  candidate is now required to pay the application fee via ONLINE (Debit Card/Credit Card /Net banking)
  • After making payment, a payment Transaction Number is generated which is to be noted for future correspondences.
  • A link appears on the screen/page named “Download Confirmation Page” will be generated only after successfully deposition of the fee. The confirmation page should be downloaded and kept for future use.
  • An applicant seeking admission must keep the Xerox of the application form and download the admit card by logging into their account and keep a copy of the same for future reference.

Admission Process for BA, B.Pharm, MA, MBA, M.Phil, Diploma:

The prospectus along with admission form and admission programme is made available to the candidates from the date of appearance of admission notice in newspapers. The filled in forms are received up to the given date. The applications are scrutinised by the admission committee and a merit list is displayed on the notice board. As per the policy and mission of the institution the admission are given to that entire desirous student who approaches as per merit list. The  University gives the preference to the students who have passed the qualifying examination in the first attempt from the institution. The University prefers students having minimum 50% marks in aggregate, however, depending on the availability of seats, the students with lower percentage (up to 35%) are also admitted. The institution gives preference to a student having outstanding performance.

Admission for the professional courses- Admission for the professional courses like M.B.A are made as per the directives of DTE Government of Maharashtra. The admissions are made through (CAT) Common Admission Test for self-financing courses, admissions are given as per university norms.
