Fees & Scholarships : The college follows Calcutta University protocols, and fees are minimal. The college also provides scholarship options for students from West Bengal Board. Loans are not needed as such.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Anyone who has passed a higher secondary examination or an equivalent course or degree can apply for any course of their choice. The admission is strictly based on merit. After scoring 92% in my higher secondary examination from an ISC background, I could get my chance in the third merit list. The cutoffs thus were above 90%.

Academics & Faculty : The professors conduct regular classes, and they complete their syllabus in time which I think is rare. In the pandemic situation, the classes are online, and the method of teaching is good. The lecturers are available for any help. Overall, I'm really happy that I'm a student of this college and have no regrets.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : Unfortunately, the college doesn't offer any hostel facilities, and the PG department is still under construction. The pandemic has delayed its completion to a considerable extent. The college has a canteen facility, and the food is good. The provided infrastructures are well-maintained with a well-furnished library.

Clubs & Associations : The college celebrates the elementary native festivals, especially Saraswati Puja and the rest of the festivals are often organised by a group of voluntary students. In general, I think it is an epitome of a good college, likeable environment, emphasis on academics, doesn't overlook the enjoyment part overall.
