Human resources
Dinabandhu Andrews College had 50 sanctioned teaching posts in the beginning, including one Principal, one Vice-principal (now abolished), Ten Senior Lecturers, Twenty Nine Lecturers, and Nine Demonstrators.
Currently the college has 69 sanctioned full time Teaching posts including one Principal, 19 Government approved Part Time Teachers, and 7 Government approved Contractual Whole Time Teachers and 3 Graduate Laboratory Instructors.
In addition to the above the students also benefit from a number of Guest faculties in various disciplines.
By the other token the college had 21 sanctioned non-teaching posts in the beginning, including 1 Head Clerk, 1 Librarian, 1 Assistant Librarian,1 Cashier, 1 Clerk-cum-Typist, 1 Store Clerk, 4 Laboratory Assistants, 8 Bearers, 1 Durwan, 1 Night watchman and 1 Office Peon. Currently, however, we have 48 Non-Teaching staff members in position.
College Office
The college office referred to as Principal’s Office has a carpet area of about 1500 sq.ft. with sufficient number of computers and printers and Steel Almirah. The college has tie up with bank for collection of fees from the students through specific software such that daily report of collection of cash is generated by the software itself duly countersigned by the designated person of the concerned bank.
The college office makes use of microphones for providing instruction to the students helping them fill in the Registration Forms, Examination Forms etc.
The college office has dedicated fixed Internet connectivity
Classrooms
The college has 35 classrooms including 4 model classrooms and 2 Gallery- type classrooms with sufficient lighting and fanning facilities with the capacity of accommodation ranging from 30 to 200.
Laboratories
All laboratory-based departments have their well equipped laboratories harbouring instruments, equipments, tools, and kits of general and special nature. The laboratories are continuously updated by way of inclusion of new and modern instrumentation facilities, in parallel with gradual and progressive infrastructure development.
Library
The college library provides room for a large number of students to study during the entire span of college hours.
