Library

Libraries are rightly called the store house of valuable knowledge. The institute's library spread over 6000 sq. ft. provides access to the best available resources to the students. The library has a separate reading section, reference section and stacking section.

The library has books covering all aspects of Management, Engineering and Information Technology with the latest editions from the best Indian and foreign publishers.

The unmatched quality and quantity of material available is also supplemented by courteous and competent staff for facilitating students. The institute has constituted a separate library committee that selects and ensures the regular availability of latest books and reading material in the library. The provision of open access e-resource through internet no longer confines a student to the library only.

The library at DNS is well equipped and has an immense collection of resources in form of CD-ROM, online database, books, audio-video cassettes, reference books, national and international periodicals, magazines, journals and pool of research work of eminent scholars.

Hostel Accommodation

There is a separate on-campus hostel facility for boys and girls and Separate hostel building for boys and girls. The hostels have capacity of almost 500 students. All the necessary facilities like hygienic food, sports material, study room etc. are provided to the hostel students. Both the hostels are surrounded with green environment. The hostels get 24 hour power supply which is backed up by a generator.

The desirous students can opt for on campus hostel facility. The hostel takes care of housekeeping and mess facilities for the students. The food is served keeping in mind the palate of students coming from different communities. The environment of hostel is such that it gives a student independence when he / she wants to study, and at the same time provides a close knit family atmosphere when he / she longs for one.

Canteen

DNS houses two canteens, a cafeteria and a dining hall on the campus. Strictest attention is paid towards, ensuring that the students are provided hygienic and nutritious food. The cafeteria provides variety of snacks, tea, coffee and other beverages whereas, the dining hall is meant for lunch and dinner. A choice of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food is available at the mess.

SPORT FACILITIES

Sports are one of the vital activities which help in overall development of the students. The DNS Group offers opportunity and space to play the sports preferred by them.

The best part of the group is organizing inter and intra competitions round-the-year. The sports offered at the campuses are Cricket, Volleyball, Badminton, , Football and Tennis along with many indoor and outdoor games.

Sports activities are given utmost importance. Our students regularly participate in all sports competitions and bring laurels to the institution and themselves. Our sports complex is a marvel in itself boasting of cricket grounds, volley ball courts, basket ball courts, Throw ball courts and athletic tracks. Another added facility is indoor sports complex fully equipped with sports kits. The atmosphere and surroundings of the institution are conducive for developing sports personalities and sports activities.

Apart from Annual Sports Meet our students also participate in various Technical and Cultural Festivals of other institutes and have won prizes in the university youth festivals and other competitions.

The Institute lays a great emphasis on the development of the personality of the students. For this purpose the Institute has promoted department-wise societies.

Transport Facilities

For a convenient and time saving commuting, the institute facilitates transportation by providing its own bus service for students and staff members. We also provide special pre-arranged transportation services for field trips and sporting events.

Internet Connectivity

The use of technology forms the crux of teaching and development methodology of the institute. The availability of up-to-date hardware and software ensures a quick and high quality delivery of knowledge. DNS has entered into an educational campus agreement with Microsoft for software licensing.

Audio-Visual Facilities

The institute is fully equipped with latest audio-visual aids to promote interactive learning. The students have the facilities of video conferencing, recording, editing, overhead projectors and LCD etc. The facility of video conferencing comes handy at the time of placement of students.

Communication Lab

In today's competitive age, it becomes almost mandatory for all students to be perfect at communication. English was and is the most accepted language worldwide and to harness the communication skills, students must be comfortable with the language. The prime objective of the lab is to facilitate teacher-student interaction for focused and productive language learning sessions. The lab is equipped with the desired hardware and software so that the four basic aspects of communication i.e. listening, speaking, reading and writing of students could be improved upon. The students have an access to the study material provided by Oxford and Cambridge publications.

Conference Room

The conference room is equipped with modern audio-video technological facilities. It definitely gives our young scholars a glimpse of the professional world. The conference room witnesses the future professionals indulge in group discussions, presentations, mock sessions, online seminars etc.

Medical Aid

DNS campus and hostel is provided with necessary first-aid amenity to provide proper health care to the students. The campus houses an exclusive medical room with a medical attendant to address basic medical problems of students. Routine medical check-up is also a regular feature at DNS.

"All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy," keeping this in mind the institute provides for separate common rooms for boys and girls where they can go and retire while not studying. The students get rejuvenated in-between their hectic schedule by relaxing in the common room.
