DBIT admissions are made on the basis of the performance of the candidates in State and National level examinations such as CET, COMEDK, PGCET, GATE, etc. For admission to most courses, it is compulsory for the candidates to appear in these examinations.

The application process for admission to DBIT, Bangalore can be completed in both online and offline mode.

Don Bosco Institute of Technology, Bangalore takes into consideration the performance of the candidate in several National and State level entrance examinations during the admission process. DBIT accepts scores in Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) and Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) for admission to Bachelor’s course.
And Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET), GATE, CAT, CMAT, MAT and the Entrance Examination conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) for admission to Master’s courses. Entrance Exam is also conducted by DBIT for admission into some PG courses. The previous academic performance of the student is also considered while making the merit list.
