Dr Ambedkar College, Nagpur campus (DACN), which is affiliated to Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Nagpur, was established in 1964 by the visionary Late Padmashri Dadasaheb Gaikwad. The DACN lies in the heart of Orange City, near the Holy Deeksha Bhoomi, where Bharat Ratna Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian Constitution, adopted Buddhism. The Param Poojya Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Smarak Samiti oversees DACN's operations. The campus covers a total area of 13 areas of land.

• Over the last ten years, the institution has successfully held 35 national conferences, six international conferences, and a number of workshops and seminars.

• In sports like hockey, chess, football, badminton, tennis, cricket, basketball, table tennis, athletics, and others, the college team competes on a regular basis at the local, state, and national levels.

Classrooms- For infrastructure maintenance and upkeep, the college has a building committee. HoDs submit their requirements for classroom furniture and other items to the Principal at the departmental level. The college development fund is used to keep furniture and other electrical equipment in good working order.

Sports Complex- An Independent Sports Academy is built in a beautiful environment with a large playground and lush greenery that spans 8 acres of land. The college also boasts a state-of-the-art Gymnasium, where you can work out on a daily basis to keep your body and mind in shape. Every day, aerobics lessons are held in the morning and evening. 

Library- The library has 60011 books and is growing. It is able to meet the academic needs of every course in the institution. The library is located on the first floor of the administrative wing. In addition to supporting students' academic progress, it tries to provide the best possible assistance to extra-curricular activities and sporting events, which are the college's primary concerns.
