Indian Institute of Fire Engineering, [IIFE] is Director of Technical Education [DTE] recognized college established in the year 1996. It is affiliated to Maharashtra Board of Technical Education [MSBTE]. IIFE was started to train students in Fire Safety Engineering and Security field by providing the hands-on experience of Fire Safety Engineering and Security Management courses to the students.

The college aims at training people on the safety and precaution of fire in order to mitigate the accidents and threats caused to lives due to fire. College provides quality education in prevention, training, inspection and preparedness. College also educates the students in Fire detection, Firefighting, practical training, Servicing of Fire equipment by imparting theoretical knowledge, modern firefighting equipment & project and ground drills.

The college teaches students about Industrial safety and security and also prepares them to organise workshops, conferences, visits to industries and organizations. Indian Institute of Fire Engineering Admission is done online on the official website of the college. The institute has a variety of facilities and was the first institute which was recognized by the government for Fire Safety Engineering, Security Management and Industrial Safety.
