FACILITIES

BOYS HOSTEL

Dr.Babasaheb Ambedkar Education Society runs hostel for boys with all the facilities available inside and outside. The boys’ hostel has the capacity of 16 students. Admission in the hostel is given on merit basis and as per the rules and regulations of the Government if admitted students are willing to live in the hostel in the hostel, they have to fill up hostel admission form and submit it to the college office immediatel

GIRLS HOSTEL

The College has built Girls hostel from the session 2007-08 with the financial assistance of UGC. The Girls hostel has the capacity of 100 students with all basic facilities like good and airy rooms with toilet and bathrooms attached to the wings. Admission in the hostel is given on merit basis and as per the rules and regulations of the Government if admitted students are willing to live in the hostel, they have to fill up hostel admission form and submit it to the college office immediately.

NSS

Under the N.S.S department of Gondwana University, Gadchiroli & R.T.M. Nagpur University, Nagpur the college has unit of 150 students. The students who are really interested in social services are selected by the N.S.S programme officer with the permission of Principal. It is to be noted that there is a provision of incentive marks for students who participate in the N.S.S as per the university norms

XEROX FACILITIES

Xerox facility is provided to students of the college in cheap rate.

SPORTS AND RECRETION

The extensive grounds space on the campus provides ample scope for Athletics and outdoor games. Provision is made for the following indoor &outdoor games: Table –Tennis, carom, Badminton, volleyball, Throw ball, Hockey, Kho-kho, kabbadi and basketball. Students seeking admission under sports quota must take part in sports activities. The college participates in University and inter-university sports. The college has special Gym facility which caters the need of the students. Dumbbells, Running-machine, Weight-lifting machine, Multy-gym 12 station, Bench-press are available in the gymnasium.

COMPUTER LAB

The College has computer lab with 20 computers which caters to the integration of information and communication technology. It also provides free internet facility to the staff and students. Besides computer training is given to the staff and others

ENGLISH LANGUAGE LAB

The College has Communicative English as optional subject at B.A. level and the facility of modern communicative lab which is charismatic for students in developing soft skills of communication and to increase their employability

CAREER COUNSELLING CELL

Through this cell the eminent Persons deliver motivational Lectures to students regarding personality development and jobs in various fields. Students are also encouraged for competitive examinations such as U.P.S.C, M.P.S.C, NET/SET, Railways, Banking, and L.I.C etc. it organizes placement programme for the students.

NETWORT RESOURCE CELL

The College has Network Resource Centre through which free Internet access is provided to students and faculties. Students can search any website for academic purpose and collect information regarding job opportunities

STUDENT WELFARE SCHEME

The institution is committed to inculcate human values incorporated in the preamble of the Indian constitution: liberty, equality, fraternity and justice. National integration is the sole motto while imparting education to the students irrespective of caste, creed, sects and religion. The institution is located in Bramhapuri which is a small town in Chandrapur District. The institution has been serving the educational needs of people living in Bramhapuri and its adjoining areas, especially those who come from the weaker section of the society. Most of the students belong to educationally backward classes and poor families with no proper guidance at home.

As a part of social commitment, the faculty members of the college given financial aids in the form of books to the students who come from weaker section of the order to create the educational interest among them.

LIBRARY

Library occupies a place of pride in the college and is an essential component of the college for outstanding research and education mission.The mission of the library is to facilitiate creation of new knowledge through acquistion, organisation and dissemination of knowledge resources and providing for value added services.The library has more than 24000 books, 50 periodicals and 16 newspapers.
The college has all the labs with the necessary equipments.
The boys hostel has the capacity of 16 students and for the girls it is 100 students.Admission is given on the merit basis and by the rules of the government.
