Rajiv Gandhi College of Engineering, Research & Technology was established in 1983 in the district of Chandrapur, Maharashtra. The College is AICTE and NIRF approved. It has a NAAC accreditation. The college is managed by the Sardar Patel Memorial Society(Trust). The college is located in green surroundings with a dense forest around. It started with five branches and 180 seats. It now has 520 seats in seven departments and a postgraduate course in three departments.
