Accommodations

There are two hostels in this Institute, one for the gents and the other for the ladies. The hostels are managed & supervised by the Superintendents of respective hostels.

(i)  Gents Hostel

The Gents’ hostel provides accommodation for 122 boarders. Accommodation in the hostel is provided on the basis of merit in the selection list.

(ii)  Ladies Hostel

The Ladies’ hostel can accommodate 45 boarders. Accommodation in the hostel is provided on the basis of merit in the selection list.

In the both hostels some rooms are reserved for M.Ed./ M.Phil students and other Research/ Teacher Fellows.

The Institute Library

The Institute library is enriched with many rare collections with a total accession of 17,982 titles (Book – 16,981 + Book Bank 1001). It has subscribed to 20 nos. of current journals and 2 nos. E-journals. It has been divided in to two blocks – Library and Reading Room.  The library has also separate sections like Reference Book, Text Book, Book of General Reading etc.
