Sambalpur University Eligibility Criteria

Sambalpur University has set up different criteria for admission in different courses. The candidate must fulfil all the requirements for getting admission. The basic criteria for some courses are as follows

BA Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have scored a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in 12th from a recognised board.

MBA Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must appear and qualify in the entrance exams MAT / CAT / JMAT / ATMA / XMAT and career mark and group discussion and/ or Viva-voce.
• Candidates must have pursued Honours in any subject or graduation with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.

Ph.D Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in a Master’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university (5% relaxation will be offered to SC/ST/ PH candidates).
• Written Test score (Minimum 50% marks in order to qualify for this test) followed by Viva-Voce.
