Infrastructure facilities at the University

As an institution founded to create, acquire, and disseminate legal knowledge, the university provides for members of the university community an state of the art modern infrastructural facilities . This infrastructure is the property of the university and is provided for the purpose of facilitating the purpose of the university including teaching, learning, scholarship, research, communication, co-curricular and other creative endeavors.

Swimming pool

• Adding glory to the 42 acres of clean and green campus of Dr. Ram Manohar National Law University, Lucknow an Olympic standard pool acquiring an area of 30x50 metres with a depth of 4.50 feet (shallow) and 18 feet (deep) was inaugurated on 2nd July, 2014 by Prof. Gurdip Singh Bahri , Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University, Lucknow. It has two spring diving boards of 1m and 3m in length respectively, separate hygienic shower rooms, the sparkling blue, clean and well maintained water of the pool proves to be a boon in the hot and scorching weather.
• The Pool is maintained by security lifeguards and other essential staff. There are different time slots and a nominal fee as per the requirement.

Facilities

• Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University sustains its vibrant intellectual life and strong community spirit by encouraging collaboration and new ways of thinking, seeking new ways to support its work, and providing the finest facilities to its students.
• The university made available to our students online legal databases, which include-Lexis-Nexis,Westlaw, Manupatra, Indlaw. and Supreme Court Cases.
• These online databases are immensely helpful to the students. Cases from countries all across the world are just a click away. Online journals and other articles have also been made available.
• This helps the students in their research work for their projects and various other things.
• To provide easy access to the internet, campus wide wi-fi facility has been made available to the students.
• The library also provides the students with a web gateway, it houses 60 computers which are open to all.
• The student run cyber committee takes care of all the matters related to computer networking, updating the university website and providing web based solutions to enhance the learning process.
• The university has appointed HCL infineta as the official service provider of internet services.
  The university takes utmost care of physical health of the students.
• Various sports and other recreational facilities are available to the students which include a plush gym with high end modern equipments, football field, a multipurpose indoor sports complex, and upcoming Olympic size swimming pool, Lawn tennis and badminton courts . The students also organized an intra university sports meet in the month of January.
• University has a in built Hospital and currently one doctor is appointed there . On-campus medical staff takes care of the health of the students. The university provides a 24 hour ambulance service which is serves anyone who requires urgent medical attention.
• There are separate halls of residence for boys and girls, it is compulsory for all the students to reside on campus.
• The students are provided with plush and fully furnished rooms, on double occupancy basis. The rooms have been designed in a way that natural light and fresh air pour in without any difficulty. All the interiors are provided by godrej.
• The university boasts of high-tech seminar halls and moot court halls, with audio-visual recording facilities.
• University aims at providing the students with every possible resource available so they are able to act and achieve to the best of their abilities
