Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University (RMLNLU), Lucknow, was established in 2005 to address the growing needs of the legal profession. It is located in the southwestern part of Lucknow and has a 40-acre campus in the LDA's Kanpur Road Scheme. The university is supported by the Government of Uttar Pradesh, which provides funds to ensure modern infrastructure and a quality learning environment. RMLNLU offers various programs, such as a one-year LL.M., a five-year integrated B.A.LL.B., a Ph.D., and other courses approved by its Executive Council. The university aims to improve legal education by teaching students strong legal skills and preparing them to adapt professionally. The fee structure at NLU Lucknow varies between Rs 1,400 and Rs 250,000 per year, depending on the course type, duration, and specialization. The university offers 13 courses across different levels, including Certificate, Undergraduate (UG), Postgraduate (PG), and Ph.D. At the UG level, the university offers a BA+LLB program. For PG students, there are multiple specializations available, including 2 Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) courses and 1 LLM program. Admission for the academic year 2024-25 is open, and candidates must take the CLAT exam for entry.

NLU Lucknow RMLNLU Admission

For the 2024 academic year, admission to the BA LLB (Hons) and LLM programs at RMLNLU, Lucknow, will be based on scores from the CLAT exam. The admission process is currently underway, and the final merit list will soon be published by the Consortium of NLUs. Applicants must meet the basic eligibility requirements (10+2 for BA LLB and Graduation for LLM). The total intake for the BA LLB (Hons) program is 176 seats, while the LLM program has 20 seats. RMLNLU Lucknow provides Certificate programs, diplomas, and Ph.D. programs.  The PG Diploma has three specializations: Cyber Law, Media Law, and Intellectual Property Rights, while the Ph.D. program offers specializations in Law and Social Science & Humanities. Admission to these programs is based on an entrance test conducted by the university.

In 2024, a total of 24 students from Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University (RMLNLU), Lucknow, secured placements. NLU Lucknow RMLNLU Cutoff

The CLAT 2024 cutoff for RMLNLU (Ram Manohar Lohia National Law University) has been finalized for both the 5-year integrated LLB (UG) and one-year LLM (PG) courses. The cutoff for admission was released over five rounds by the Consortium of National Law Universities (CNLU). For RMLNLU, the final cutoff for the BA LLB (Hons) course in the General AI category closed at rank 764. For those planning to appear for CLAT 2025, the exam is scheduled for December 1, 2024.
