Career Planning & Placement Cell :-
Durgapur Govt. College is the only Govt. College in the district to have a fully functioned Career Planning & Placement Cell. The Cell has also received funding from UGC and provide career Counselling & Placement Services to the students. The cell also provides library and internet facility to the students. The placement cell conduct off-campus / in-campus interviews with IBM Daksh, Wipro BPO, Wipro Technologies, Durgapur Polymers, Ashoke Leyland, Fenasia Chemicals, IFB Agro etc. the placement cell intends to expand its activities by engaging the services of a professional counsellor on a weekly basis to further cutting-edge information and career guidance to the students.

Academics & Faculty : Class timings are from 10a.m. to 2p.m. and practical timings are from 2p.m. to 4:30p.m Exams : There is two types of exam. One test exam in the middle of the year and the final exam in the last of the year. There is normal quality and method of teaching. My experience in college is good.
Fees & Scholarships : Course fee is Rs 1320 per month. No scholarships available for students. No one get scholarships. No loan facility.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There is no hostel. Outside the college there is a PG where I live. Their cost per month is Rs 1000. There is no food in the college. There is a hotel, they gave me food and meal. Their cost per month is Rs 1500. In college there is no wifi connection.
