Gandhi Institute for Technology was started in 2007. It is a part of Gandhi Group of Institutions. It is run by Balaram Panda Trust. It is a Self Financed, Co-Educational & Non–Minority institution. Gandhi Institute for Technology UG Admission 2020

The college presently offers undergraduate courses in B.Tech with several specializations. Gandhi Institute for Technology offers a full-time B.Tech course of 4 years duration to the applicants with 8 specializations. Lateral Entry is also offered to the aspirants. Candidates seeking Gandhi Institute for Technology admission in Lateral Entry shall clear all the bridge courses as prescribed by University. The total seats offered are 900 seats including all specialization that is CSE-180, CST-60, AG-120, CIVIL-60, MECH-120, EEE-60, and ECE-60.

Gandhi Institute for Technology UG Admission - Eligibility, Fees, Admission Criteria

The college offers a full-time B.Tech course of 4 years duration to the applicants with 8 specializations. Lateral Entry is also offered to the aspirants.

  • The college offers the B.Tech program in 8 specializations. Admission to B.Tech is done based on the JEE entrance examination.
  • The college also offers direct admission to B.Tech Second Year. Minimum eligibility is Diploma or equivalent examination with a minimum of 45% marks.
  • For admission into 1st year, the B.Tech program a student has to appear for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE-Main) conducted by CBSE. For details visit www.jeemain.nic.in. JEE(Main) authorities shall publish two merit lists. One all India merit list the other for Odisha state candidates only. 70% of the seats shall be filled up in Govt. of Odisha counseling. taking students from the Odisha merit list.
  • Around 25% of the seats shall be open for all India merit list, where students of Odisha and pan India can compete. To facilitate students who have not appeared JEE Main a special OJEE is being organized on 25th July. Please follow the calendar given below to get admission into B.Tech programs provided by GITA, Bhubaneswar, through OJEE.

  • Candidates must have passed their 10+2 (Or equivalent examination) with  Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Computer Science with a minimum of 45% (Aggregate) in Physics, Mathematics & Chemistry/Biology/ Biotechnology/ Computer Science is a must
  • For admission into 1st year, the B.Tech program a student has to appear for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE-Main) conducted by CBSE or OJEE

Gandhi Institute for Technology PG Admission 2020

The college presently offers a few postgraduate courses which are M.Tech, MCA and MBA. Gandhi Institute for Technology admission offers M.Tech in various specializations. The mode of admission to the M.Tech program is based on the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE), for candidates who have not written the GATE exam are supposed to go through the online test Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE). The total intake for M.Tech is 32 seats, for MCA is60 seats and MBA is 180 seats.

Gandhi Institute for Technology PG Admission - Eligibility, Fees, Admission Criteria

For admission to postgraduate programs candidates must fulfill the eligibility requirements as prescribed by the college. All admissions are made strictly under the college rules in force at the time of admission. Gandhi Institute for Technology admission for M.Tech is based on GATE Score. Non-GATE candidates are required to appear at an On-line Test, GATE candidates are exempted from this test. GATE qualified candidates or pass or appearing in MCA examination from a recognized university with CGPA 6.5 or 60% marks only for M. Tech in Computer Science and Computer science & IT branches.

M.Tech
  • The candidate should haveB.Tech/ B.E examination from a recognized university with CGPA 6.5 (10 point scale) or 60% marks
  • Admission to M.Tech. programs are strictly based on rank obtained by candidates in GATE
MCA
  • The candidate should have obtained at least 50% (45% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ ST category) in the qualifying examination
  • Candidates who have passed Graduation in BCA, B. Sc. (IT/ Computer Science/ IST/ ITM) with mathematics as a subject at 10+2 or graduation level in approved institutes of other states are allowed to take admission in Private colleges as per their OJEE rank
MBA
  • Any graduate a pass or appeared with a minimum of 50% at graduation (+3) level
  • Admission to MBA programs is based on OJEE/ CMAT/ MAT/ CAT/ XAT scores

Gandhi Institute for Technology MCA Admission

For admission into 1st year Master degree in Computer Application: Candidates must have passed or appeared, the Bachelor’s Degree examination of minimum three years duration in any discipline from any University of Odisha or a recognized University as defined by UGC and must have passed in Mathematics at 10+2 level or Graduate Level. Business Mathematics at +2 level is not permitted for admission. The candidate should have obtained at least 50% (45% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category) in the qualifying examination. If the candidate has passed BCA/ BSc(IT/CS/IST/ITM) with mathematics as a subject, he/she may appear in the entrance test without Mathematics at 10+2 level. There is no age limit for admission to the MCA course.

  • For admission into Master in Computer Application under Lateral Entry to 2nd year: Candidates must have passed or appeared in 2018, the Bachelor’s Degree examination of minimum three years duration in BCA, B. Sc. (IT/ Computer Science/ IST/ ITM) from any University of Odisha or a recognized University as defined by UGC and must have passed in Mathematics as a course at 10+2 level or at Graduate Level. Business Mathematics at +2 level is not permitted for admission.
  • The candidate should have obtained at least 50% (45% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category) at the qualifying Examination.

Step 1: Registration

Step 2: Log in to the official System

  • Please Provide the login id and password which you had chosen at the time of Registration with our system.
  • Whenever you login first time our system will ask you for the secret key which you received through the email at the time of registration.

Step 3: 

  • Click on the link 'Click here to apply' and choose the department by clicking on the arrow of the corresponding department.

Step 4:

  • Fill or update your application details by clicking on appropriate arrows.
  • Please note that once you fill or update the information in the appropriate form you need to click on either save/ submit button so that your data will be stored in our system.

Step 6:

  • Submit your application by clicking on the 'Submit Application' button.
  • Unless You apply by pressing the above button your application will not be considered.

Step 7:

  • After submission, you should take a printout of your application by clicking on the 'Print Application' button.

Step 8:

  • If you are called for the Written test/Interview you need to carry all your documents, a printout of your application (Which you will receive through email after the last date of submission), payment reference document and certificates with you.

Step 9:

  • One can apply to several departments. If you want to apply to several departments you need to fill a separate application for each department you want to apply.
  • To fill your application for the department "XYZ" first log in to our system and choose "XYZ" in the list of department names. Please note that you need to fill all your details for each department.
  • Please note that you need to pay the application fee separately for each department.

Step 10:

  • You can keep on updating your application, upload the payment reference document and photo till the last date.

Step 11:

  • "Incomplete application will not be accepted".
